On November 11, 1965, the first P.H.S.
chapter of the Future Homemakers of
America, under the direction of M r s .
Fredericks, was organized. After its be-
ginning the chapter got off to a busy start.
A few of the years events included; a dem-
onstration of gas cooking by Miss Miller
representing People's Natural Gas, a
Christmas caroling party, and a mother-
daughter banquet. Several members also
attended a state convention in Lincoln.

The PHS Pep Club, after many hours of
planning and preparation finally completed
the setting for the 1965 Sports Banquet, held
on March 27. This years King and Queen
were crowned by last year's King, Don Tex,
and Linda Schaefer, representing last year's
Queen, Diana Denker.
The Jaguars provided the musical background.
Mr. Allgood, sponsor of the pep club, presents
