DRUMLINE WINS
 The Clements Drumline competed in the Gulf Coast Classic drumline contest. In the 5A class, they won every award. Trophies were also awarded for the groups that were the best of the overall contest. Clements won best overall snares, tenors, bass drums, and front ensemble. Most importantly, they won Best Overall Drumline, making them the grand champions for the whole contest.

TOYS FOR TOTS
 Sugar Land Exchange Club, The Sugar Land Rotary Club, Fort Bend Exchange Club and Project Smile have joined forces to provide Christmas gifts for thousands of deserving children in Fort Bend County.  Bring a new, unwrapped toy or gift  For children infant -17  Place gift in collection box by front office  They will come pick the gifts up on December 6th.. Please support this wonderful cause…

Breakfast Food Drive
 How can you help?  Donate non-perishable breakfast food items for Holiday Cheer from December 2-6, 2013. Look for Clements PALS during drop off in the mornings at the front circle drive, the band entrance, and the bus ramp entrance to collect your donated food items. Alternatively, drop off breakfast items in the boxes located at the main entrance, attendance office entrance, and band hall entrance anytime the week of December 26.

 13 orchestra students have been named to the Texas Music Educators Association AllState Orchestras!!! This is the highest individual achievement a high school musician can achieve, and as a member of this elite group, they represent the top 1% of all student musicians in the state of Texas. They will travel to San Antonio in February to participate in the All-State Clinic and Concert with world class conductors. This is also an new record for the Clements Orchestras

COMP SCI WINS
 Computer Science students competed in the USA Computer Olympiad this weekend. The results were released today.  Please congratulate the following students for their achievements  Raymond Chee – Advanced to the Gold level  Michael Lo Piccolo – advanced to Silver level with a perfect score in the bronze level  Alexander Yang , Jeffrey Zhang – advanced to Silver level

Clements Academic Decathlon Team
 competed at the Cinco Ranch Invitational Meet. The team won 3rd place overall. They also took home several individual awards. 10 Individual Math Awards, including perfect scores for Aanandh Chandrasekar, Gene Hsu, and Jim Ren.  4 Science Awards 4 Language and Literature Awards 4 Art Awards  3 in Economics 1 in Social Science 1 in Music The team competes next at the District Competition in December.

Clements Choirs
 had 39 students place in All-Region competition with 26 qualifying for Pre Area on Nov. 21st. We are very proud of these outstanding singers! The fall concert is tonight at Sugar Land Baptist Church at 7:00 P.M. It is free to the public and features all of our performing choirs.

RangerBots
 Clements RangerBots competed in their first robotics competition ever. These individuals developed a robot which traversed a course picking up objects, and dropping them into buckets, while keeping another team from doing the same. The team finished third in qualifying out of 54 teams, and posted the highest overall score of any team. Team members are: Christopher Denny, Eric Li  Thomas Lau & Kevin Rao

Pro Grad
 Cookbooks are in and we will be selling them every Friday at lunch time until Dec. 20th. They also will be available at the ProGrad meetings and on line at the CHS ProGrad website. Also if you pre-ordered your cookbooks, please pick them up at the ProGrad meetings or any Friday during the lunch hour at the Cookbook Sales table located on the stage. Cookbooks are $10.00

 Pro Grad T-Shirts will be on sale in the CHS cafeteria every lunch period from now through Thanksgiving. They are $20 each, and seniors get 1 service hour credit for each shirt purchased.
