Meeting Minutes for NIMBA Monthly Meeting November 8, 2010 Topic: Discussion: Action: Call to Order President, Kathy Serrat, called this meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. at Hacienda Mexican Restaurant on Portage Rd. in South Bend, IN. Meeting commenced.

Officer Elections. Officer elections took place for another one year term. The following positions were elected upon: President ± Kathy Serrat Vice President ± John Marquardt Treasure ± Debbie Kulwicki volunteered to be interim treasure until a replacement is found. UPDATE {11/10/2010}: Judy Houston has stepped up to fill treasure position. Secretary ± Stacy Tucker Information Received.

Topic: Discussion: Proposed Race Schedule for 2011. 1. May 7 {Saturday} ± Winona Lake X-Country 2. June 5 {Sunday} ± TK Lawless TT 3. July 10 {Sunday} ± Potato Creek TT 4. September 4 {Sunday} ± Bluhm County TT or Imagination Glen TT ± TBD 5. September 18 {Sunday} ± Franke Park X-Country {Fort Wayne, IN} 6. October 2 {Sunday} ± Potato Creek X-Country ± Season Finale 7. October 23 {Sunday} ± Cyclocross at TK Lawless 8. November 13 {Sunday} ± Cyclocross race ± Loctation TBD 9. December 4 {Sunday} ± Cyclocross race ± Location TBD NOTE: Rum Village TT is yet TBD for 2011. Action: Information Received.

Volunteer Opportunities. Volunteers are needed for the following: 1. Quarterly newsletter. 2. Race publicity consisting of getting info to local bike shops, make up race flyers, and update kiosks at all trail locations. NOTE: Megan Clark and Megan Swift are partnering up to fulfill this opportunity. 3. Race setup/tear down team for each race. Winona Lake, Outback locations, and Fort Wayne not necessary. NOTE: Russ Gelow, Jason Vermilyer, Ed Serrat, and Megan Swift have volunteered to assist with these duties. More volunteers are welcomed! 4. Food volunteer for each race. Bill and Debbie Kulwicki have volunteered to take this on. 5. Registration charge person. This person needs to be stationed at the registration table to answer any questions and make sure the registration process runs smoothly. 6. Race committee. The following have volunteered to take part in coordinating NIMBA events: Ed Serrat and Megan Swift. Additional volunteers are certainly welcome. This committee to have separate meetings aside from the monthly NIMBA meetings. Information Received.

New Business. NIMBA is in need of a small trailer to be pulled to workdays and races. The trailer would contain race materials and/or workday tools. By having this trailer a TON of time would be saved in packing, repacking, and unpacking. Not to mention wear and tear on personal vehicles. The trailer can be stored at Spin Zone when not in use. The cost of the trailer would be $1400.00. Information Received. Northern Indiana Growth Update. The following new trail construction: 1. Bendix Woods trail workday on Saturday, November 13 at 10 a.m. Meet at shelter in middle of park. Workday to last 2-4 hours. 2. Chain-O-Lakes State Park {Albion, IN} a. NIMBA to donate 5,000 flags (about $500.00)

b. Their members to join NIMBA and return funds to them to help them grow.
