Objectivity Training
Objectivity in-class training courses are taught by very experienced experts in object
oriented technology.

The instructors, in addition to teaching the features and techniques of objectivity database
applications, also enjoy sharing their knowledge about databases, distributed processing, and
good object-oriented design patterns. Objectivity courses are lab-intensive.
You will learn how to avoid using relational-style features in favor of a true Object-Oriented
approach.
Like the programming languages themselves, a very powerful general-purpose programming
API such as Objectivity can be used most effectively by someone who has received proper
training and been made aware of how to best take advantage of its strengths. Jump start your

Types of Validity and Threats to Validity
Introduction:
When evaluating the effectiveness of our training
program, we are concerned with validity. We can
differentiate between internal validity and external
validity. Internal validity refers to whether we can
conclude that the training program produced a change
on our criteria (this can also be referred to as training
validity). External validity is whether or not we can
generalize from our results to other settings and
populations. When drawing conclusions about our
training program, we must be aware of potential
threats to validity. We might find that our trainees have changed, but we need to rule out
other possible explanations for this change before we can conclude that it is the result of the
training.
