Objectives Set up and align a two-sided, folded document. Create an original, new logo and use it in a brochure. Incorporate quality images. Incorporate at least four quality images, not including the logo. Write at least 250 words of original copy in at least three paragraphs, headers, and subheaders. Trim for a full bleed and print in duplex (two-sided) color.

Process I think that sketching out my ideas on paper and then choosing the best out of my sketches is a great tool. I can showcase my ideas so much better when I sketch them out. I learned that all Adobe programs operate operate a little bit dierently.. I created my logo on Adobe Illustrate. Then I created my outline dierently for the brochure on InDesign. And nally I edited my photos that I put on the brochure on Photoshop. I spent most of my tim working with InDesign to make the brochure exactly how I wanted it. I played around a lot with the paragraphs and lettering. Typography is a really important element of design you can not overlook.

Message  I wanted the message to really come from the images and not the words. I wanted my brochure make people want to plan outdoor trips.

Objestives Good variety: all three logos are dierent All three logos for same company At two dierent logo styles Original illustrations Layout with white space

Process On this logo I used regular text font for DJ. I used the pen tool to create Eko because I did not like any of the fonts I looked at. It is a simple logo but I believe it is for the best. I used the eye drop tool to select the perfect colors to make my logo stand out. The most important thing I learned was that this logo is versatile and that is important. It can be used on any color or in any color.

Message The message I was trying to convey was a professional and young DJ company.
