he Detroit Free Press called Pam Perry “a marketing whiz on an almost immortal mission.” Known as the “connector and PR coach,” Perry knows how to pull the right people together for the right project at the right time and garner the right publicity. Her public relations (PR) and advertising career spans two decades. A local Emmy Award-winning professional, Perry has worked the entire gamut of media, including print, radio and television. Additionally, her career includes nonprofit and PR agencies. One of the nation’s foremost experts in the African-American Christian market, Perry is the chief visionary of Ministry Marketing Solutions, Inc., the PR and marketing consulting firm launched in 2000. Some author clients include Bishop T.D. Jakes, Dr. Suzan Johnson Cook, Dr. Fred Price and Pastor Bill Winston. Her passion is Christian books and assisting writers in becoming authors through the American Christian Writers Association; she is president and founder of the Detroit chapter. Perry also hosts teleconferences on various PR and marketing topics with self-published authors, and provides PR counsel to ministries nationwide. She is married to Marc Perry.

ames K. Ralph Jr. is president of James Ralph Agency, Inc., a fullservice insurance agency. The agency specializes in commercial insurance and employee benefits.

A board member of the Oak Park Business and Education Alliance, Ralph is a member of the Oakland County Business Roundtable, president of the Southern Oakland County NAACP and chairman of the board of Southfield Downtown Development Authority. He also serves on the Blue Cross Blue Shield Agent Advisory Council, as treasurer of the National African-American Insurance Association, Michigan Chapter, and as board member of the Michigan Minority Business Development Council. Ralph’s past community involvement includes serving as chairman of the Southfield Chamber of Commerce, president of the Council of Minority Business Organizations and president of the Oakland County Business Consortium. He also served as chairman of Southfield Adult Education and treasurer of Southfield Public Schools Community Foundation, and was involved with the Life Underwriters Association and the 46th District Court Substance Abuse Task Force. Additionally, Ralph was named 2002 Volunteer of the Year and 2006 Business Person of the Year by the Southfield Chamber of Commerce.
