Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a fluoropolymer formed by the polymerization of monomer tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) in presence of an initiator. It is found in numerous product types ranging from flexible foam to elastomers and from rigid foams to solid compositions.
