JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product suitable for broadcasting. The material may consist of camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects. This is a key role in the post-production process and the editor’s skill can determine the uality and deli!ery of the final product. The editor may be part of o f a team and will usually work closely with the producer director to achie!e the desired end result. "!ersees all aspects of post-production to ensure that the final !ersion of the content meets production reuirements and satisfies the correct timelength reuirements. The #ditor may work on a !ariety of productions including feature filmsl, tele!ision programs, music !ideos and cmmericals.
