I am a commercial real estate financial analyst who is currently employed but te sting the market to see what other opportunities may be out there. I am finishin g up my masters of science degree at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in commercial real estate finance and investments. I currenly work in commercial re al estate finance as an underwriter/financial analyst. In the past 14 months I h ave personally closed $85,000,000 in mortgages. WORK EXPERIENCE Confidential., Baltimore, MD Financial Analyst/Jr. Underwriter January 1, 2010 to Present Assist the underwriters with all aspects of the loan process including the follo wing: financial analysis and modeling (IRR, PV, Equity Yield, Return on Cost, Sensitivity Analysis, Waterfalls etc.), prepar ing the pro formas, reviewing third party reports (appraisals, market/feasibility studies, ESA's Phase 1 & 2, PCNA's, plan s and specs etc.), conducting property inspections, managing the client relationship (assist development team with stra tegic planning by helping decide whether or not to include retail component, proper unit mix, market rents, S&U, Value Engin eering etc), and all other due diligence related to the preparation, submission, and closing of the loan packages which r ange from $1,000,000 to $200,000,000. Some of which involve specialized financing and subsidy vehic les including: Low Income Housing Tax Credits; Private, Local, State, and Federal Grants and Loans; and Project based Section 8. I am very experienced with HUD's new underwriting standards implemented through the MAP program and LEAN's new underwriting and application process.
