Reflection Technology in Education

REFLECTION BY : SITI ANIS ATHIRAH BUX BT SHEIKH MUNIR BUX (0610/1995) For the subject of Technology in Teaching and Learning , my friends and I are required to perform a task that applies the technology in a lesson plan . As a way to encourage discussion among student and teachers , we need to perform this task in groups and I have chosen to work with Azni Zulaikha and Intan Syamimi . At first I was vague with what needs to be done especially on the ASSURE model . This is because I do not really understand the concept of the ASSURE model itself and what is more complicate the situation was when I was talking to other trainees, there are different opinions from them . From the model ASSURE Model I and friends plan a lesson plan. We also have a slight problem here. This is because even if we are given the freedom to choose the curriculum of any school level, we get stuck in a media plan that will be used in later lessons . Then, I asked the opinion of several friends of other trainees and I found many people who use video media material and PowerPoint slides. This is because both the media is quite easy to use even though it is quite complicated in terms of preparation. After talking with friends, we agreed to use video media materials, PowerPoint slides and other 2-Dimensi. We then find it difficult to discuss because of their need to go home for semester break and School Based Experience Program (SBE) for two weeks. However, we have divided the work and strive to make the best. We feel very grateful when receiving lecturers media we produce is even a slight change to do the daily lesson plan, followed by an appropriate media, the last thing we need to do is update this task and provides PowerPoint slides to present daily lesson plans and media materials that have been us to do. As a conclusion, I feel very grateful for this assignment completed successfully managed even though there are some constraints in the process of executing it. In addition, I also learned many new things, especially in the daily lesson plans to apply the technology in order to make the teaching and learning process ( P & P ) are more interesting . A wealth of knowledge and experience that I gain from this task I will use its best when undergoing practicum for the next semester, InsyaAllah.
