Configuring a Search

To begin a search in the Remedy 7.5 Incident Management Module, expand the Functions toolbar and then select the Search Incident option. A new Search window is opened.

Click on Advanced search option in the top bar.

When you click the Advanced search button, you will see the

advanced search criteria edit box at the bottom of the Search dialog. Enter the required search query in the dialog box and hit Search

Search Query : ('Assigned Group*+'="Houston Thin Client Operations" OR 'Assigned Group*+'="Houston Middleware Operations") and 'Status*'="Assigned"

Saving a Search

Once a query has been run, you can save this search so it can be run again. To save a search that has been executed, do the following: 1. Select the Searches button 2. Select Save Search in the drop-down menu.

Enter the Search Name All_Open_UnAssigned_Tickets and hit OK.

Running a Saved Search

Once a search has been saved you can run it from the Search Incident dialog. From the Search Incident dialog do the following: 1. Click on the Searches button (grey toolbar) 2. Click on Run My Searches from the dropdown menu. 3. Click on the search name “All_Open_UnAssigned_ Tickets” saved search. 4. All Open Unassigned tickets are displayed in the results dialog.
