Job Description
SAP Basis Administrator
SAP Basis Administrator must have Knowledge on SAP system Build, Architect, Suppo
rt , Install, upgrades, EHP upgrades etcmust have Knowledge on Change Management
process, incident management etc.
Must Provide technical expertise for resolving escalated issues.
Must have Strong leadership, and team-building skills with the ability to interac
t effectively with Clients
Must have strong knowledge in various OS like Windows, Unix etc.
Exposure to differant database like Oracle, DB2, Maxdb is mandatory
Must have a strong SAP Basis knowledge in SAP NetWeaver, ECC, BI, EP, PI, SCM, CR
M, SRM, MDM, Solution Manager, opentext, BOBJ, HANA, New dimensional tools etc(a
ny 3-4).,
Must have a strong Excellent Knowledge of Oracle database administration
Must have a knowledge of SAP JAVA and ABAP Stack, Split, SWPM, SLTOOLs etc
Must have a knowledge in backup/recovery, DR activities.
Good to have exposure to DB2 UDB, DB2 on Z/OS, Maxdb, MSSQL
Good to have Knowledge on Vmware, SAN, NFS, Clusterring, HA is added advantage
Good to have exposure to OS/DB migration, Planning, Tools etc
Good to have SAP certifications or ITIL or PMP certifications are added advantage
Good to have Experience with ABAP/JAVA Performance tuning,
ability to perform root cause analysis incase of issues in SAP systems
