Student Flats: The school owns a large flat in the same building as the school. If you want convenience and comfort this is a great option. The flat has 7 rooms, 3 baths, living room and kitchen. The flat is equipped with television, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave and heat. Each room has Internet connection. Private Studios: If you do not want to share accommodations with other students are stay with a host family then consider staying in your own private studio. The studios are clean, convenient and very inexpensive. Private 2 Bedroom Apts: Finally: If you do not want to share accommodations with other students, stay in a host family and prefer something larger than a studio, you can rent your own private apartment. There can be very limited availability for these apartments. If you want one you should plan on registering FAR IN ADVANCE to get one.

Life in Madrid is lived in the crowded streets and in the noisy cafés, where talking, toasting, and tapa-tasting last long into the night. The School works hard to help students learn about the culture and traditions of Spain. Each month the school organizes visits to museums, churches, and other interesting areas in and around Mardrid. Activities are held in the afternoon during the week. Weekends can be spent in one day excursions guided by the staff. Because of Madrid’s convenient location most of the outlaying cities can be reached anywhere from half an hour to five hours by car, train or bus.
