ASME B31.3
The tables show the highest permissible internal pressure at 8
temperatures for steel grade 304L calculated according to the
rules in ASME B31.3, Chemical Plant and Petroleum Refinery
Piping.
The following formula has been used in the pressure
calculations.

P = Internal pressure in ksi.
tmin= Minimum allowable wall thickness in mm
S = Allowable stress in bar
Ej= Weld Joint Quality Factor. (Related to the
type of joint and amount of examination.)
OD = Nominal outside diameter in mm
Y = 0.4 when tmin < 0D/6
