Structure of the Analysis Paper
1. SWOT analysis
The SWOT analysis is repeated again at the end of the year. You should analyze your company
after it having being under your management for a year. This analysis should look at the future of
your company and provide the framework for managing the company in the following year.
2. Goals and strategy
In this major section you should run a backward check on the goals and strategy you had defined at
the beginning of the year in the strategy paper and find out whether you achieved the goals or not.
You should clearly mention the goals that you achieved or surpassed and the successful strategy
you used. You should also try to explain the reasons why you did not achieve some of the goals and
why the strategy you defined did not function the way you expected. In case you modified the initial
goals and strategy, you should explain why the modification was necessary.
The critical analysis of the goals and strategy should be done for each period and for the whole
year.
This analysis is the final step in the learning process.
3. Learning and takeaways
In this section you should summarize what you have learned in this course. The word “summarize”
means that you should not write a long essay. The simplest way to do this would be in the form of
an unordered list with bullets at the beginning of each statement.
4. Final notes
Please remember that a report of this size must have a cover page and a table of contents. I also
expect from collegelevel students to write reports that are well designed and appealing in
appearance.
Please also note that the words “should” and “could” used in this document really mean “must”.
This means that your get a lower grade if you leave out any of the above sections 1 through 4 or
submit a report without a cover page and a table of contents or submit a paper that is not well
designed.

Your email must include in the subject “Analysis paper company xy” and the name of the PDF file
that you attach to the email must be as follows:

where xy is your company ID.
Any emails and PDF files not conforming to the above conventions will not be accepted and your submission
will not be graded.
