Materials for each projec t; prepare professional blueprints of their final design projects. * Curriculum successfully integrates math with model building and computer- aide d design (CAD) and prepares high school students to pass the ADDA national test, certifying them to work in industry and bypass introductory college-level cours es. * Encourage and counsel students to enter annual state and national architectura l design and display competitions: VICA, NYIT, NJIT, NJCF, ACTSO, etc. Coordinat e field trips to site projects and professional offices, museums, so as to expos e students to various architectural ideas and designs. * I have taught and coached the PCTI chess team for 20 years. Our team won consi stently and we never had a losing season. The chess team won the BPSL league cha mpionship 14 times.
