Summary

Alyce, a homeless child, is taken in by a sharp -tongued midwife. She makes the girl her apprentice. One day, Alyce finds Edward, another homeless child. Although, she is not able to care for him herself, Alyce persuades the cook at the local baron s manor to give the boy a job and a place to stay. Alyce promises Edward that she will return for him when she can. Months pass. Alyve has an argument with the midwife and takes a job working at an inn. Now that she has an income of her own and a place to live, Alyce returns to the manor to reclaim Edward.

Elements of the story
y Setting Medieval time: (village) manor, the river y Characters 1. Brat(Alyce) - the homeless girl, also called Beetle and she takes on the name Alyce 2. Jane Sharp - the midwife who takes Brat in as an apprentice. 3. Edward - the homeless friend of Brat's. y Plot Alice and Edward are talking in the kitchen. Then, they go to the river to see the great event. As they help others find time for themselves social satisfaction themselves. Alice is gong to bathe. Finally, she went down the path from the manor. y Theme Dreams y Conflict Alyce, a homeless child finds Edward, another homeless child and she is not able to care for himself.

But when you learn to love and value a person inside you will realize that the physical is not always essential.

Conclusion

This work for me was a little complicated because I do not like reading first and second because the story was a bit "weird. But the story has a positive message and that was something I liked. I had to get help to understand many words. I know I could do a better job but I leave it for last hour.
