Turn Off Sound Effects

Turn off sound effects in SAPGui at Patch Level 40
To turn off the sound effects in the SAPGui at Patch Level 40, click on the Customizing of local layout icon on the far right of the toolbar. (This is the same icon that you use to print a hardcopy of the screen.)
Click on Customizing of local layout button.
Select New Visual Design from the dropdown menu.

On the General tab, there is a section titled Sound.
Sound defaults to On
Click the Off button and then click OK . That should turn the sound effects off.
Click the Off button and then click OK. The sound effects should now be “off”.
