2. Installation 2.1.
Operating Environment
The minimum and recommended specification to install the software is as follows Item

2.2.
Installation (UBC Studio PE)
The software installation procedure is as follows; 1) Insert the supplied Studio Personal Edition CD into personal computer’s CD-Drive. 2) Click the [UBC_STUDIO_PE_SETUP.exe].
The set up program starts to run.
3) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents, please click the [NEXT] button.
4) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents of the License policy, In case you agree it then click the [Agree] button.
5) You can change the directory to be installed software. However we recommend you maintain the default directory of “C:/SQIsoft”. In case of the rack of free disk space, you may click [Browse] to look for and assign the path. automatically created. .

Installation CODEC
CODEC is compound word of coder and decoder. CODER is to convert analog signal of audio and video to digital signal. DECODER is to covert digital signal to analog signal of audio and video.
You must have codec installed in order to use UBC application.
UBC support “KLite Codec Pack” additionally, then you can install it. 1) Select [Start]-[Programs]-[SQIsoft]-[K Codec Install]
from windows Menu bar.
2) Click [Next ] after After the reading the displayed Installation dialogue for K codec, please click the [NEXT] button.
3) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents, please click the [NEXT] button.
4) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents, please click the [NEXT] button.
5) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents, please click the [NEXT] button.
6) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents, please click the [NEXT] button.
7) Click the [NEXT]. After the reading the displayed contents, please check the box of “Hide systray icon”, then click the [NEXT] button.
8) Click the [Install]. After the reading the displayed contents, please click the [NEXT] button..
9) Finish installation by following the on-screen instruction. After completing the installation, click [Finish].
2.4.
Update SW
If you have right authority, the software will be automatically updated. The update way is very easy.
You can update it by selecting [start]-[Programs]-[SQISoft]-[UBC Studio Update] on the
window menu bar or by double clicking the UBC studio update Icon on the screen.
