Volunteers in the Community

Mary Tisi was the teacher who worked with these students to develop their expressive writings while they volunteered at the Brooklyn V.A. Medical Center in 1993. The publication by Ten Penny Players was used to motivate reflection by other student volunteers. It was a project of the partnership between NYC Vocational Training Center and Ten Penny Players under the Governor's Office for Volunteerism.
