Stargazing in the Park Community Members got an opportunity to look through a telescope and see the moon, Jupiter & Mars. The event was held at Riverwood Park and organized by the Royal Astronomical Society of Mississauga. Community Members learned a lot about astronomy and had a great time viewing the stars .
Congratulations to Bruce Winner of the V!VA V!VA Masters Putting Challenge. Challenge. After three days of putting and fierce competition, Bruce was awarded the green jacket and received bragging rights. Many turned out for the event to watch and cheer for the players.

Community Members enjoy enjoyed ed helping the 3rd Meadowvale Boy Scouts hunt for easter eggs. The boy scouts left with easter baskets full of chocolate easter eggs. V!VA Mississauga and Stephen Lewis Secondary School has formed a partnership to fundraise for “Helping V!VA Hands for Honduras” which builds & fixes playgrounds playgrounds for children children in Honduras. The last two weeks in April, Apr il, Comm Communit unityy Mem Member berss & students get an opportunity to bake treats. We will then be assisting the students in May to sell the treats at Stephen Lewis Secondary School for the fundraiser. fundraiser.
