Painting Prepared surface using pneumatic sanders, wet sanding and using related materi als. Primed and painted surface using spray guns with compressor. Used computer software to mix paint. Spray cart paint for military vehicles, as well as house of color, DuPont for commercial vehicles. Prepped vehicles, masking and taping inside and out.

Auto Body Repair:

Removed damaged fenders, panels and installed replacement parts. Filled depressions with body filler, fiberglass, putty, and sanding all compon

 

ents to prepare for paint preparation. Replaced brakes and suspension components. Extract information from manuals, TM, computers and all relevant sources. Worked with various frame machines, Shark and the Genesis 2 on frame straiteni ng and repair. Install Armor, MWO Mods, to fit vehicle requirements according to TM manual. Fabricate multiple parts and weld components applicable to job satisfaction. Job consists of heat straightening, hammering and reshaping using various body tool (dollys, slide hammers, cutting tools.) My Work History:

Allied Trades Auto Body/ Welding Lead Jan 2006 - Apr 2010 ITT Industries, Contractor Kuwait Specialized in refurbishment and the rebuilds of M1114, and Special Forces M1113 Humvees, for the Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF mission.) Over 6 yrs of experienc ed in all Welding, Auto body and Automotive repair to numerous pieces of militar y equipment and all aspects pertaining to government TM manuals, documents and f orms. Supervised reconstruction of bulkhead and frame rail Cross members on M870 & M87 0A1 Trailers, and cross members and sheet metal floor replacement on IBFM1, Crop s, and M1077A1 Flat racks. Daily duties consist of Measuring Metal (C-Channel, I -Beam, Flat Stock, and more...) to thickness and length using the correct Measur ing, Leveling and Squaring system for purchasing locally or through the military system. Allied Trades Auto Body Repairman-Welder May 2004-Dec 2005 ITT Industries, Contractor Doha, Qatar I specialized in reconstruction repair on Hummvs, Hemmits, 5-Ton trucks and all track military vehicles assigned to the APS-5 maintenance projects. I am assigne d to numerous jobs such as welding, body repair, fabricating, and patch repair, fiberglass and panel replacement. Also job task consist of Turret Welding applic ation for M1 Abram Tanks and other repairs on Aluminum Track Vehicles hulls. As Acting Allied Trade Lead on numerous occasions, I was responsible for the inspec tion of damaged vehicles, and the quality of work that leaves the shop. To furth er my responsibilities, I took charge of paper work duties such as the daily lab or cards for all employees in the section, completing military inspection 2404s. I took responsibility for requisitioning metals and supplies through the milita ry parts system and local economy purchase.

Dolese Lawton, Oklahoma 2003-2004 Daily duties consist of building structures off blueprints that tower over 100ft high, using various welding machines, torch setups, measurement system and Man lifts. Construction types (Conveyors, Walkways platforms, Rock Boxes, Conveyor B eams and Transform towers.) I have operated numerous man lifts and heavy machine ry such as 4K-10K Forklifts, Bobcat and Backhoe.
