What Is Your Spiritual Heart Rate? The heart rate is also known as the pulse, and consists of the pace, rhythm, and strength of the beat. The healthy range for the pace is somewhere between 60-100 pulsations in a minute, for adults. The rhythm reveals if the beat is regular or irregular. The measure of strength is by determining how strong or weak the pulsations seem to be. An analogy comes by viewing the NASCAR’s that speed around a racetrack. The rate that the cars travel is the miles per hour, some MPH is 180 others are 200 or so. The rhythm is how regular they make their laps, or are they irregular and stuck in a pit stop? The strength is the horsepower of the engines, some weak others strong. From here, we ask the question, what is your spiritual heart rate? Within the human body is a living divinity that regulates the spiritual heart rate, rhythm, and strength. If our rate is slower or faster than the pace setter then we experience negative consequences in life, to goodness, and inner fruitfulness. In addition, we want our rhythm to be regular with that divine inner presence. If it’s irregular, there is instability in our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors relating to fruitful qualities. Furthermore, we want to be strong in our position with that inward deity, solidly rooted in the desire for life, doing well, and blossoming with softness. When we are too weak, we falter into hostile attitudes about life, slip into evilness, and become inwardly desolate. The spiritual fruit will blossom from within us when we are in tune with the heart beat of the inner divinity. The fruitage sprout when our pace, rhythm, and strength are in sync with the divine softness of the soul. A pulse that is keeping time with the inward goodness will bring love, peace, faith, and perseverance in what we say and do. A deviant pace

that is too slow or too fast will result in attitudes of hatred, conflict, hopelessness, and despair. Our rhythm needs to be regular within the moist qualities of goodwill, meekness, joy, and patience. An irregular pulsation makes us unpredictable with ill-intentions, dominance, pessimism, and impatience. In addition, our strength should bloom within the spirit of kindness, gentleness, goodness, and self-control. If our spiritual pulse is weak that will cause us to succumb to cruelty, harshness, evilness, and uncontrollability. A healthy spiritual heart rate is in tune with the divinity of the soul, where fruitfulness develops in our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. HEALTH Does the pace, rhythm, and strength of fulfilling our physical desires deviate from the pulse of the spiritual fruit? The speed at which we fulfill physical needs can be too slow, or too fast. That is the pace at which we feed the body, breathe, wash ourselves, or rest. Doing any of those routines at too low of a rate results in unhealthy diets, starvation, illness, blackouts etc. If we fulfill our needs too quickly it will lead to obesity, inner gunk, hyperventilation, and various physiological overloads. The spiritual fruit regulates the pace at which we meet our basic needs through self-control, kindness to ourselves, goodness in what we input, and being gentle to the body. The rhythm by which we fulfill our basic needs can be regular or irregular. Being regular might involve eating three meals a day, daily baths, routine exercise in the fresh air, etc. Irregularity in attending to the body would cause skipped meals, a randomly unsanitary body, and unstable breathing pattern. That is an “on again off again” routine where you care for your health one day, and the next day

you are inputting unhealthy substances. The spiritual fruit sets a healthy rhythm by the qualities of perseverance, faith, inner peace, and a love for the welfare of our body. The strength by which we fulfill the basic needs of the body might be strong or weak. If the strength of our spiritual pulse is weak, we might eat to soothe emotional distress, or consume mood altering drinks, as well as inhale intoxicating substances. That weakness might lead to relying on narcotics to give us sleep. The better alternative is to be strong in bodily nutrition and healthy habits. When we are strong in the spiritual fruit, the fulfillment of our basic needs accompanies joy, goodwill for the body, meek input, and patience within the fulfillment of physical needs. Stay with the heartbeat of the spiritual fruit when fulfilling your basic physical needs. SAFETY Does the pace, rhythm, and strength of the safety of our lifestyle deviate from the pulse of the spiritual fruit? There is a chance that our pace is too slow at responding to the protection of the body. That is when we take various risks that could potentially threaten our life, such as unsafe sexual intercourse, or not responding to news alerts, emergency whistles, and sirens. That is similar to someone who skateboards at 65 MPH in street traffic, but refuses to wear a helmet or install brakes. In contrast, being too quick to make ourselves safe is to seek protection through extreme measures. One such example would be to barricade all the windows and doors of your home because you fear the neighbors who are members of the NRA. In addition to that, some people become hostile with aggressive violence to defend the security of their “way of life.” However, the spiritual fruit sets the appropriate pace for securing our safety by the spirit of self-control, being

kind to one another, conveying gentleness, and welcoming goodness. The rhythm regarding our safety might be regular or irregular. Wearing a safety belt, or not texting while driving, each time we commute is an example of regularly protecting our life. In contrast, being irregular in our response to safety concerns does not shelter us from harm. A hazardous and life threatening deviation is to wear a seat belt one moment and not the next, or not texting for a few moments then texting a lot while driving. Only through the spiritual fruit are we consistently kept safe through the qualities of perseverance in safe doing, faith in the goodness of protective guidelines, inner peace, and love for the safety of one another. Our strength regarding our safety might be weak or strong. We might have a weak consideration for keeping ourselves safe and secure from day to day. That would put us in harms way frequently, making us gullible or prone to accidents. The spiritual fruit strengthens our sense of safety through joy, meekness, patience and goodwill. When we are joyful we are not engaging in risky confrontation, in meekness we easily are aware of harsh and threatening situations. In addition, when we are patient we do not hurry through a hazardous task, and with the spirit of goodwill we recognize the ill-intentions of others. Stay with the heartbeat of the spiritual fruit to feel safe and secure. SOCIAL Does the pace, rhythm, and strength of our social interactions deviate from the pulse of the spiritual fruit? The pace of our community life can be too slow, or fast. We may be so shy that we never find a smile of joy within ourselves to say that friendly “hello” to initiate

relationships. We become isolated, lonely, and perhaps feeling unloved. In another venue, the rate of our socialization can be so fast that we attach ourselves to others through whatever means is available. That includes companionships that are unhealthy, not safe, degrading to us, and oppressive. The spiritual fruit within us induces a rate of socialization that provides a hospitable and loving place of belonging. Through self-control we keep ourselves from engaging in tempting but harmful bonds. In the spirit of goodness we form unions with people who feel compassion for our welfare. In addition, through meekness and goodwill we form bonds with those who are charitable and peaceable. The rhythm of our social activity might be regular or irregular. Irregular relationships happen when we are in and out of friendships. We might constantly change boyfriends and girlfriends, or continually join groups but then dropping out. There is a possibility we would feel unwanted, hated, and feel rejected by the constant changes in the social atmosphere. That is due to not being able to discover the glue that stabilizes our interaction with others. The spiritual fruit is that glue which stabilizes the rhythm of our belonging. Perseverance makes us regular in our love, welcome, and hospitality of fruitful friends. Faith enables us to anticipate the goodness in one another with the spirit of joy. The fruit of peace brings harmony to one another through a serene attitude. In addition, love brings the spirit of tolerance and acceptance. The union of our social bonds might be weak or strong. Weak relationships are not able to remain together as various situations incite accusations, suspicions, and feeling alienated by one another. They are not sharing their life together through the divine goodness that lives within them. Those companionships are pulled apart by the bad

omens they have for one another. Alternatively, the blossoms of the spiritual fruit provide strength in our relationships. Through the spirit of kindness, gentleness, joy, and patience, tolerance will appear to help us strengthen our bond. Stay with the heartbeat of the spirit’s fruit during interactions with others. WORTH Does the pace, rhythm, and strength of our sense of worth deviate from the pulse of the spiritual fruit? The rate of our sense of worth might be too little or too much. If we have too little esteem for ourselves we fall into self-destructive behaviors, or allow others to be abusive to us. In contrast, if our egos become overly inflated then we only consider our own gratification, we treat others with very little respect. The spiritual fruit paces the evaluation of our self-worth with the spirit of goodwill, gentleness, goodness, and patience. We feel esteem for performing deeds and speaking words that improves the quality of life of others, and ourselves. The rhythm of our sense of worth might be regular or irregular. If we are irregular then our feelings of what we are worth to others would fluctuate day by day. On one occasion we might feel pride that people applaud us and say ego-building words to us. In another instance, there are feelings of worthlessness and despair because we are not accomplishing the life we desire. The spiritual fruit stabilizes the value we feel for our worth through love, peace, faith, and perseverance. Within ourselves we feel loved from a divine source, and experience peace in our esteem for the goodness that lives in us. That comes with a feeling of faith that our future is one full of joy and accomplishments, we feel our destiny is fruitful. We persevere when humiliation confronts us.

Our sense of self-worth might be weak or strong. A weak sense of value for our worthiness would make us feel inferior to others, inducing us to question our own purpose for living. We would want to surrender our efforts of achieving in ways that makes life worth living. A strong sense of worth comes through the fruitfulness of kindness, meekness, joy, and self-control. We feel our egos bolster when our kindness derails cruelty. There is a strengthening of pride when our meekness testifies to the vulgarity of others domineering harshness. There is joy in our selfesteem when our happiness turns egotistical arrogance to sadness. There is self-control in our feeling of power when self-proclaimed greatness loses control of their “reign.” Stay with the heartbeat of the spiritual fruit when you evaluate your worth. SELF-EXPRESSION Does the pace, rhythm, and strength of our self-expression deviate from the pulse of the spiritual fruit? The pace of our words and deeds may be too little or too much. If our words are too little then we will never open ourselves to allow the inner fruitfulness to flow through us. Alternatively, our words and deeds are too many and we ignore the goodness of our inner being, and we become agitating to others. The fruit of the spirit through love, peace, faith, and perseverance keeps our words and behaviors within the pulse of the spiritual fruit. We want to open ourselves so that compassion, serenity, optimism, and imparting endurance channel through us. The rhythm of what we say and do might be regular or irregular relating to divine inner qualities. If our communication is irregular our behavior and words will be unpredictable, one moment nice and the next cruel. We

would not know what to expect from one another, whether from our mouth comes hateful spite, or a loving welcome. The spiritual fruit keeps us regular in speech and acts that flow with goodwill, gentleness, goodness, and patience. Our self-expression might be strong or weak within the pulse of the spiritual fruit. If we are weak in our expression of the goodness that lives in us, others will not comprehend the meaning of what we are feeling inside. They would dominate our true desires to communicate less noble intentions. However, there is strength within us to express ourselves kindly, meekly, joyfully, and with selfcontrol. Through kindness in our words and deeds we become strong because we develop an aware ear for cruelty in the responses of others. In our meek speech and behavior we are strengthened by listening alertly to the harsh feedback of others. In our joyful self-expression there is a strengthening because sirens sound when others return pessimism to our happiness. We are strongly rooted in self-control, to hold our tongue and actions, as we become alerted to ill-intentions. THE CYCLE The cycle of the spiritual heart rate begins with those who induce belief, and accept, that the inward divinity is the pace keeper, rhythm maker, and strength of our fruitfulness. Their pulse is not blocked by anger, instead a steady flow of peace and serenity live in them. In addition, there are no blockages caused by pessimism because they are an open vessel of inner joy and happiness. In contrast, they are able to bargain away the hardness of their inner being in exchange for living from the moist softness that pulsates through their body. They accept the pace, rhythm, and strength given by the divine goodness of the soul. There are growing reservoirs of people who are choosing

to keep their spiritual heart rate in pace, with a regular rhythm, and strong by the divinity within them. The words, deeds, and attitudes that pulsate from those reservoirs are like a heart beat that imparts life, goodness, and fruitfulness. Those attitudes transfer through people who channel an infusion of divine qualities arterially from person to person, or indirectly through capillary avenues. The transference of that infusion enters into us because we openly realize that the value of our worth comes by a healthy spiritual heart rate. We want to belong among those who are pulsating with a pace that has a regular rhythm, and are strong in the blossoms of love, tolerance, peace, and goodwill. People are likely to host the deity that sets the spiritual heart rate because they realize life depends on a pulse that beats with kindness, gentleness, goodness, and selfcontrol. The cycle of the divine heart rate continues through the pace, rhythm, and strength found within the moist softness of our inner being. We can assess that within our body is the divine pace keeper that regulates our spiritual heart rate. The diagnosis is that our pace, rhythm, and strength needs to keep time with that inner deity to experience spiritual fruitfulness. From that, we plan to honor the divine goodness which sends pulsations of compassion, tranquility, optimism, and consistency through us. The implementation of that plan is by moderating the pace of our life with a regular rhythm that is strong with soft and tender ways. We can evaluate our spiritual pulse through the fruitage that blossoms in our thoughts, emotions, and behavior. When the qualities of goodwill, meekness, joy, and patience is felt flowing through us we know we have a healthy spiritual heart rate.
