What subjects does the GED cover? General Education Development (GED) is another way to make you y ou eligible for taking admission in college; it is i s mull over an alternative of High School Sc hool Diploma in all over America. The purpose of GED is to test your educational skills to get you to the next level. The GED test is divided into five parts namely science, social studies, mathematics, language reading and language writing. Science includes 50 multiple choice questions, these questions are from earth, nature, space and animal science, weather and climate. The images of  climate, weather and graphs will be provided above and questions will be formed from them, in the end you need to interpret the graphs to answer some questions. It includes the history of America and world, civics, politics, current affairs, economics and geography. Moreover most of the questions will be provided in short paragraphs, you must read before answering the questions. use calculator, the other portion also contains 25 questions in which you will not be allowed to use calculator. Questions will be asked from geometry, algebra, simple formulas, measurements and statistics. List of formulas will be provided. Out of 50 questions, 10 questions will be based upon matching the correct answers. This is the most difficult part of the test. Language reading section of the GED test consists of 40 questions. It involves five fiction and two non-fictions stories. Questions will be asked from the given stories; some of them will be multiple choices whereas some involve summarizing the passage. The last part of the test contains language writing. It involves two parts; a test taker needs to correct the structure of the passage in first part p art and in the other part, he/she needs to write a passage based on the given opinion or viewpoint.
