College Football Playoff Watch
PRESENTED BY
Bill Nichols
SATURDAY’S NOTABLE GAMES
TCU defensive tackle Chucky
Hunter was asked Tuesday if he
would watch the unveiling of the
College Football Playoff rankings.
“No,” he said, “I’m going to
watch some film.”
The rankings substantiated
Hunter’s focus. Debuting at No. 7,
the Frogs need worry about only
one thing — the Frogs. Win out,
andthey should be in.
Their next two games loom
large. They play Saturday at No.
20 West Virginia and face No. 9
Kansas State at home Nov. 8.
Their closing opponents — Kan-
sas, Texas and Iowa State — have a
combined seven wins.
The Frogs’ path will be cleared
by the six teams in front of them.
No. 1 Mississippi State must play
No. 6 Alabama and No. 4 Ole
Miss. Ole Miss plays No. 3 Auburn
on Saturday. Auburn also plays
No. 11Georgia and Alabama.
