Dear General Chin,
At the King’s direction, I am acting in my capacity as an officer of the court admitted to
the Federal Bar of Hawai’i to provide protection to those you have failed to protect.
I am providing you with a courtesy copy of a petition being filed today on behalf of the
Kahuna of the Temple of Lono that seeks a Temporary Restraining Order and
Preliminary and Permanent Injunctions addressing the restrictions placed on those
engaged in spiritual practice on Mauna a Wākea.
I am frankly shocked that any State official would consider the restrictions constitutional.
