Functions & Responsibilities
Complete servicing and overhauling (12kva --- 40kva)
Lister, FG-Wilson, Perkins generators etc…
Connection and installation of generator panels (ATS
12kva – 40kva)
Servicing of AC and DC air conditioners, units, and
troubleshooting compressors ranging from 1HP
Ability to climb over 45m towers and carry out
maintenance on Aircraft Warning Light and lighting
arrestor installations
Installation of diesel tanks, diesel flow, return lines to
generators, and ensuring no leakages from any equipment
Carry out maintenance on DC batteries, surge arrestor
systems, and complete wiring of both AC and DC
distribution panels
Good understanding and use of earth resistance
equipment
Reporting to team leader

Professional Requirements
Member of The Engineering Institution of Zambia (E.I.Z.)
First degree in Electrical Engineering or any other technical
qualification
A minimum of 3 years cognate experience
