General Manager Report
The weather has started to cool down and we have had some beautiful days on the ranch. We have several projects going on and are working hard. Cabin #2 has been completed and is already being rented. Powder mill expansion is underway, the rental trailers are being moved to a new location in Powder Mill, this will open additional pads for members on the upcoming holiday weekend. Our wells project is almost complete, we are just waiting on two new water tanks, once they are installed the wells will be 100%. We are working on a gas tank containment system for our gas station, they are ready for installation, we will wait till after the holiday weekend so as not the interrupt service. The low water crossing above wilder springs has been completed, special thanks to all the volunteers that worked in the hot sun and to all those who donated much needed monies to this ranch project. The deer are on the move! We have been working on food plots for the wildlife and have put out mineral blocks and feeders in areas for wildlife viewing. At this point we have a need, the need for seed and feed. Any help with this project will be appreciated. Did I mention that the fish are biting! Ya’all come and see us. Coy.

President Report
Thank you to all committees and special assignments a job well done.

When I must leave you for a little while, please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile. And for my sake and in my name, live on and do all the things the same. Feed not on your loneliness and empty days, but fill each working hour in useful ways. Reach out your hand in comfort and cheer and in turn I will comfort you and hold you near. And never, never be afraid to die for I am waiting for you in the sky!

Ranch Riders Committee
On Wednesday August 4, 2010, Ranch members poured the final concrete on the Spring Road Crossing above Wilder campground that leads to Lonnie’s Lookout. More than 20 volunteers worked on the new crossing and 3 other concrete pours on the Ranch, the step on the north door of the Patio room, better access to the Wilder Annex family/handicapped bathroom and reinforcement to the handicapped fishing ramp. The original crossing design was to drive on rock encased in chain link fence. A member loaned the money to do the crossing all in concrete at this time. Donations are needed for the Ranch Large Project Fund to reimburse this member. The concrete for these projects cost over $3000. Donations can be sent to Ranch office or to Doris and Dale Hutto or Bonnie Coates-Scalf. Please note on your checks that it is for the project fund. The only Ranch expenditure on this project was the Loader (backhoe) and its operator. Another Ranch project done with donated money and volunteer labor! Remember; American ends with I can. Send your suggestion for future large project funding to Dale & Doris Hutto, Bonnie Coates-Scalf, Frank Shores or Chuck Ruckdeshell.
