To Our Valued Customers and Friends:
In 1974, a small group of Swedish entrepreneurs started exploring ways to improve shooting accuracy. Their goal was simple but ambitious - to create a sighting technology that would allow shooters to acquire their target quickly, and to hit moving targets in all weather and lighting conditions consistently and accurately. Little did they know at the time that their invention, the Aimpoint sight, would revolutionize the shooting and hunting industry. In basic terms, Aimpoint’s breakthrough technology allows a shooter to do what comes naturally - keep both eyes open while focusing on a target. When a shooter looks into an Aimpoint sight, a red dot appears in the lens. The shooter can then quickly superimpose the red dot on the target. When the red dot is on the target, you’re on target. It is this combination of speed of sighting and accuracy that makes Aimpoint sights the preferred choice for beginners and experts alike. Because of Aimpoint’s constant innovation and dedication to its craft, it is recognized as the worldwide leader in sight system technology. In our newest catalog, we have built upon our latest advancement, Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology (ACET), further enhancing the quality and effectiveness of our sights. Aimpoint’s new Hunter series sights are our latest step in product development. These new sights combine outstanding optical performance and modern design features in a package that offers hunters the advantages of speed and accuracy, and will end their reliance on magnified hunting scopes. The Micro series sights are small enough to be used in applications where size and weight have limited the applicability of red dot sights in the past, and they are rugged enough to do the job required in those applications. Around the world there are well over one and half million hunters, sports shooting enthusiasts, police and military personnel who use Aimpoint sights. We thank you for your continued support. For those who have yet to use our products, we look forward to showing you how Aimpoint sights will improve your shooting. Just wait until you see what we do next.

Sincerely

Why an Aimpoint® Red Dot Sight?

Development & Quality

The Aimpoint Philosophy
When the time comes to shoot, there should be absolutely no question that you can count on your sight to perform. We believe that a weapon sight should simplify aiming while meeting the highest possible requirements for reliability and ruggedness. We know that conditions in the field place extreme demands on your equipment, so we design and test Aimpoint products to stand up to any conditions you are likely to encounter. We also design our products to operate constantly for years on a single battery so your sight will always be ready whenever you need it.

Why an Aimpoint Red Dot Sight?
Place the dot on your target - from any angle
Aimpoint sights are parallax-free, which means that the visible dot remains parallel to the bore of your weapon no matter what angle your eye is in relation to the sight. This means you never have to worry about centering the dot inside the sight. When the dot is on target, so are you. You will be able to get on target fast, and can forget about being challenged by bad light or moving targets.

User friendliness

Aimpoint sights are extremely user friendly. Operated by a mechanical switch or push-buttons, an Aimpoint sight can be easily and quickly changed to the right setting while simultaneously aiming through your sight. Our mechanical switch and push buttons won’t freeze and are easy to use whether you are wearing gloves or not.

Aimpoint’s new Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology combines our superior accuracy and ease of use with significantly lower power usage to maximize battery life. ACET sights can last up to 50,000 hours (over 5 years) of constant use from a single battery. That is 49,000 hours more than other competitive sights on the same setting. Aimpoint has taken another giant step forward by applying its scientific expertise in developing the new Hunter series sights. The Hunter sights offer full length product performance with features like 34 mm tubes and digital brightness adjustments. Place the dot on the target, squeeze the trigger, and your job is done. Add an Aimpoint Hunter sight to your favorite firearm and put our science to the test. We’re ready when you are.

Environmental awareness

All conditions - Anywhere

At Aimpoint, we take great pride in making sure that neither hazardous nor radioactive materials are used in our sights.

Why a Red Dot Sight?
To be successful, shooters must be able to aim accurately and quickly under a wide variety of conditions. On a shooting range, there is plenty of time to take aim, but in the real world, everything is in fast motion. Add rough terrain, foul weather, poor light and high levels of stress and even the most experienced marksman will be put to the test. Red dot sights are superior to iron sights and magnifying scopes in several ways. Using these other types of aiming devices require that the shooter’s focus leaves the target. With iron sights, shooters must align the rear and front sights with the target. Magnified scopes slow you down. Your field of vision is severely limited, and locating your target through a tube with one eye closed wastes valuable time and destroys your situational awareness. The single red dot has been proven to be the fastest type of reticule to place on target, and provides the greatest increase in hit probability on moving targets. Red dot sights allow you to remain focused on the target. Shooting with both eyes open means that you remain in touch with what is going on around you, and will never again miss an important shot because your scope was on the wrong magnification!

Aimpoint sights work in all light conditions from the darkness of the forest before dawn to bright mountain sunlight. They are fully waterproof so you never have to worry about rain or immersion. Aimpoint sights are developed and tested to be used in any weather conditions, from the sub-zero temperatures of the Arctic to the heat and humidity of the tropics.

Quality
Aimpoint sights are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and meet the highest standards of quality. Each sight is hand-built at our state of the art facilities in Sweden, assigned an individual identification number, and subjected to rigorous testing and numerous quality control checks during the manufacturing process.

Aimpoint - Global leader

On any type of firearm

Whether you have a rifle, shotgun, handgun, black powder rifle or bow, Aimpoint has a sight for you.

Aimpoint’s Advanced Circuit Efficiency Technology
We pioneered the development of the red-dot sight in 1975, so every Aimpoint sight has over 35 years of advanced Electro-optical science built in.

Standard features on all Aimpoint sights
• Unlimited field of view • Parallax-free and unlimited eye relief • Unaffected by extreme weather conditions • Extremely rugged, durable construction • No hazardous materials • No laser emission that could be harmful to your eyes • Increased aiming confidence and hit probability • Reduced training time and ammunition consumption • Battery life measured in years

Aimpoint is the recognized worldwide leader and originator of red dot sighting technology. After more than 35 years of working closely with experienced hunters, marksmen and military weapon systems experts around the world, Aimpoint red dot sights remain the No. 1 choice for combining ruggedness, speed and accuracy.

A driven hunt for wild boar is my favorite game. Because I don’t want to miss when have the opportunity of a lifetime (like a big trophy running through the woods), I need to be ready for action. For that I need the right equipment: an accurate rifle, good ammunition and a fast, reliable sight. After testing almost every red dot sight available, I made my choice the Micro H-1 from Aimpoint. It´s strong, small, works in whatever conditions you can imagine and (most importantly) it allows me to hit where I aim the dot. The perfect solution for running game when you must aim and shoot fast! The Micro H-1 is the perfect sight for a wild boar hunt.

Dangerous game hunting requires an optic with a wide field of view and an aiming point that’s fast to pick up. Aimpoint’s HUNTER sight proved absolutely perfect on Cape buffalo in the Zambezi flood plain of Mozambique. The red dot stood out like a glowing beacon against the buffalo’s black hide, and my sight picture was totally unrestricted thanks to the large diameter of the HUNTER sight and its non-magnified field of view. I can’t imagine a better sight for dangerous game.

Hunter H30L

The Aimpoint sight was born steeped in European hunting tradition. The difficulty in making fast shots to hit moose, wild boar, and red stag moving through thick forests in rain and snow made the illuminated red dot sight a necessity. Using the Hunter H30L, you’ll be able to make the tough shots, and forget about being challenged by bad light or moving targets. After hunting with the Aimpoint 7000 and 9000 models, then with the Micro H-1 which efficiency, size and weight seduced me, I discovered the Hunter H34S sight during a driven-hunt in Sweden. From the first look into that optic, I am totally surprised. In this sight, the image seems even more precise and appears enlarged somehow. It is like aiming and hunting on a giant screen, a full HD in some way. No red dot sight until now has made this kind of impression on me. The target is immediately found and the point directly projected on the game – this speed makes this sight highly efficient. To shoot with the H34 is so incredibly easy, it astonishes me. And on this day, the Aimpoint H34 sight and Saint Hubert were with me. Three mooses and one fox crossed the way of this last generation red dot sight, each time with a perfect result. What more could I ask for?

Aiming naturally… Switching it on means entering a world where every kind of shot is possible. The red dot sight always keeps you on target: this is a great advantage for the hunter that can shoot naturally, having both eyes open. Since the range of vision is really wide, it’s only needed to focus on the vital area: even if the light conditions are bad, just choose the right brightness, position the red dot on the impact point and follow it until you release the trigger. The result is granted, with no need for magnification. The Aimpoint red dot sight is perfect for hunting: efficient, compact, quick in every adjustment, precise, resistant and virtually “never ending”.

I mostly hunt in the mountains of Austria and I usually use a riflescope with magnification for a single accurate shot on standing game, such as red or roe deer. I tried an Aimpoint sight and it was a totally different experience. With an Aimpoint red dot sight you can shoot your rifle in a more dynamic way, similar to using a shotgun. An Aimpoint sight is a perfect solution on shorter distances in a typical driven hunt situation, especially for moving or fast-running game. Your focus is always on the target, not just on the reticle - a good assumption for a sure, clean and fast killing shot.

Getting the Most of Your Aimpoint® Sight

How to zero
A B

Aim straight, shoot better

Fig 1
1. Set up target at close range (less than 25 yards). 2. Place firearm in solid rest and center dot on target. 3. Take one shot.

Fig 2

Fig 3
4. Replace firearm on solid rest with dot on target (A). 5. Without moving the firearm, turn adjustment screws until red dot is centered over bullet´s point of impact (B). 6. Repeat as necessary until point of aim and point of impact are the same.

Fig 4
Learn to aim with both eyes open without taking your eyes of the target.

Fig 5
With your firearm shouldered, with both eyes open and focused on the target, the dot will naturally appear where you want your shot to hit.

Fig 6
Practice aiming with both eyes open and the front lens of the sight covered. After some training, you will be able to aim your firearm more easily and faster than ever before.

Aimpoint sights are easy to zero
CAUTION: Place the firearm in a safe condition prior to handling or making any sight adjustments. Aimpoint’s red dot sights are optically centered. That means that if the mount base is properly aligned with your firearm’s action, only minor adjustments should be necessary. It is easiest if you start the zeroing process from a short distance. We recommend 25 yards or less. This allows you to immediately see if further adjustments need to be made, which in turn can save you time and ammunition. Once you have set up a target, get the firearm in a solid rest, aim at the center of the target, take your first shot and inspect the point of impact, (fig 1&2). Check how well the sight is zeroed and then make any necessary adjustments (fig 3). Aimpoint’s adjustment screws are located on the top and sides of the sight, which allows for impact points to be moved up/down or right/left. After zeroing the sight at 25 meters, you are ready to zero at greater distances.

Aim straight, shoot better
It’s simple. Keep both eyes open. For a moment, lower your firearm and focus both eyes on the target. Next, without taking your eyes off the target, bring your firearm into position so that you are now looking at the target through the Aimpoint sight (fig 4). The red dot will now be on the target (fig 5). It’s that easy! When the dot is on target, so are you. Since all Aimpoint sights are parallax free, you never have to worry about centering the red dot inside the sight.

We recommend this simple training exercise. Cover the front of your Aimpoint sight with the lens cover (fig 6). Then bring your firearm into position while keeping both eyes focused on the target. The red dot will now be on the target (fig 5). Practicing this simple procedure will get you comfortable with keeping both eyes open while aiming at the target. That’s because with a traditional sight, your field of view is limited. You lose valuable time focusing through the sight rather than focusing on the target. You also lose eye contact with the target and you don’t get a general view of the situation and surroundings. After performing these exercises you are ready to get the most out of your Aimpoint sight. You will see how much easier and faster it is to aim your firearm with an Aimpoint sight and you will improve your shooting.

Mounting the sight
With the variety of models available, there is an Aimpoint sight for virtually every type of firearm. For a sight and a gun to function as a reliable unit year after year, it is important that the mounting is done professionally and the mounting rings and bases are of high quality. The Aimpoint red dot sight does not have a critical eye relief. This provides great freedom in locating the sight along the length of the rifle, and makes it very easy to fit them into a modular system that allows the mounting of several different types of sights on the same rifle.
