Mesa Tactical is a manufacturer of tactical shotgun accessories for the professional operator. After starting out with telescoping shotgun stock systems in 2004, our SureShell™ shotshell carriers are rapidly becoming standard equipment among US law enforcement agencies. WHAT’S NEW
We continue to expand our line of Urbino™ Tactical stocks for Benelli and Remington shotguns. By teaming with California-based Freedom Fighter Tactical, we are now able to offer complete stock and forend sets in coyote color for the Benelli M4. We are also offering “Riser Ready” versions of the Benelli M4 stock: ready to accept a cheek riser, but with the cheek riser sold separately (see page 4). Ever since we introduced our Saddle Mount SureShell carriers for the Remington platform, Mossberg owners have been beseeching us for integrated rail and shell carrier assemblies for Mossberg 500 and Mossberg 590 shotguns. We finally obliged them with our new SureShell Carrier and Rail for Mossberg 500 (see page 13). We are also responding to what we perceive as the increasing use of H&K style (dog leash) sling hooks by producing hook loops that replace the rear sling loops on Benelli tactical stocks (page 27) and the Urbino Tactical stocks(page 29), as well as versions for Benelli and Vang Comp magazine extensions (page 26). Meanwhile, we have finally retired our Low-tube stock adapters, as well as stock adapters for the Winchester 1300.

URBINO TACTICAL STOCK SYSTEM

#91550 Urbino Tactical Stock for Remington (Cheek Riser, Limbsaver, 12-GA)

Developed to meet the needs of law enforcement and military operators, the rugged Urbino Tactical stock features a “tactical” 12½ inch length of pull (LoP), Santoprene rubber grip, optional Limbsaver® butt pad, optional adjustable cheek riser and a variety of flexible sling mounting options. The reduced LoP makes the Urbino the first truly tactical stock for the Benelli shotguns. A shorter stock is necessary for use in tactical applications, especially with body armor. The Urbino Tactical stock is durable, easy to shoulder and will not slip. The Urbino Tactical stock is also comfortable, thus reducing operator fatigue, especially during prolonged training and qualification sessions. The Santoprene grip is padded at the rear to reduce recoil impact against the web of the operator’s hand, and the optional Limbsaver buttpad substantially reduces felt recoil. The field-adjustable cheek riser was developed to provide superior cheek weld when using optics. The cheekpiece snaps onto rails molded into the sides of specially equipped Urbino stock armatures. In the event of optics failure, the cheek riser can be quickly removed or readjusted to a lower level. Specially-developed SureShell™ shotshell carriers can be fitted to the cheek riser (see page 17). While rail-equipped Urbino stocks can be used without the cheekpiece, cheek risers cannot be fitted to stocks that do not have the rails. All Urbino Tactical stocks are made in the USA, and include Benelli#91460 style rear sling loops for 1¼ inch sling Urbino Tactical Stock for Ben M4 (Limbsaver, 12-GA, Black) webbing. In addition, a hole at the lower rear of the stock accepts QD style sling swivels (not included). Urbino Tactical stocks can also be fitted with any of a variety of optional steel pocket sling mounts similar to those offered for our Remington telescoping stock adapters. Pocket sling loops, hook loops and push-button sling swivel mounts that fit securely between the Urbino stock and the shotgun receiver are listed on page 28. Urbino Tactical stocks for the Benelli M4 are available in black or coyote color. We also offer US-made forend halves from Freedom Fighter Tactical that match the coyote colored Urbino Tactical stocks. These forends can be purchased separately or as part of our new stock and forend sets. “Riser Ready” Urbino Tactical stocks, available for the Benelli M4, feature cheek riser stock armatures without the cheek risers. Cheek risers can be purchased separately at any time and fitted to “Riser Ready” stocks.

TELESCOPING STOCK AND ADAPTER KITS
The concept behind the telescoping stock system is simple: the shotgun stock is replaced by an adapter, which attaches to the rear #91260 LEO Telescoping Stock Kit end of the shotgun’s receiver and it, for Rem 870 in turn, mimics the rear end of an AR15 lower receiver, into which an AR-15 receiver extension tube can be threaded. The AR-15 telescoping stock and pistol grip can then be reliably attached. Our stock adapters, manufactured for the Remington 870 and Mossberg 500/590, are investment cast aircraft aluminum. They are then CNC machined and anodized with a Type III Class 2 mil-spec finish. The ITT Enidine recoil buffer is also CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and meets the stringent standards of military and law enforcement users. To meet the requirements of professional operators as well as competitors, we offer two lines of telescoping stock systems: High-tube™ and LEO. The LEO adapter is our most basic, bestselling model, and features an optimal stock elevation allowing the use of iron sights or even the bead sight. All LEO adapters accept optional push-button sling swivels, and Remington 870 LEO adapters can accept stamped steel sling loop and hook loops. Our High-tube adapters, which feature a much higher stock elevation (equivalent to an AR-15) and require an optics rail (included), are specialized adapters for unusual law enforcement applications or competition. Accessory mounting points on the sides of the High-tube aluminum adapters accept Picatinny rails, sling mounts or Mesa Tactical shell carriers, and are fitted with Timesert® steel thread inserts for strength and long life. See page 28 for sling loop and hook loop solutions for the Remington stock adapters only.

TELESCOPING STOCK ADAPTER AND STOCK KITS
Our aluminum adapter kits include everything necessary to retrofit Remington or Mossberg pump shotguns with most AR-15 style stocks and pistol #91250 grips. Our adapter kits allow customers to add their LEO Telescoping Stock Adapter for Rem 870 own AR-15 stock assemblies as desired. Our complete stock kits are more comprehensive. They include the aluminum AR adapter; Hogue rubber overmolded grip; US-made mil-spec four-position M4 SOPMOD style telescoping stock assembly; and all necessary assembly hardware and instructions. The High-tube stock kits also include a receiver-length top Picatinny rail. A Telescoping Shotgun Stock Multi-tool and push-button sling swivel are included with every stock kit.

HYDRAULIC RECOIL BUFFER
The ITT Enidine hydraulic recoil buffer can take the place of the receiver extension tube, converting the AR-15 telescoping stock into a recoil-buffered stock assembly without further modification. Recoil-buffered versions are available for all three of the telescoping stock systems, or the recoil buffer can be purchased separately (see page 8). The recoil buffer accepts mil-spec dimensioned buttstocks. Our basic kits include the adapter and all necessary installation hardware. No gunsmithing is required for installation.
ORDERING INFORMATION

LEO: LEO adapters feature a factory stock elevation for use with receiver-mounted sights or no sights at all. While all adapters are designed for installation on 12 gauge shotguns, the LEO Telescoping Stock Adapter for Remington 870 can also be fitted to 20 gauge Remington 870s.

High-tube: High-tube kits and adapters are designed for rail-mounted optics; all High-tube kits include a top Picatinny rail. BUTT PADS AND RECOIL BUFFERS
Because those M4 telescoping stocks were not designed with shotguns in mind #90190 they aren’t the most comfortable buttstocks. Limbsaver® Buttpad We recommend you use some kind of butt for Urbino Tac Stock (Coyote) pad, and we offer two styles. USGI-style slipon rubber butt pads expand the butt’s surface area and make it easier and more comfortable to shoulder and fire your weapon, though they do not offer any recoil absorption. LimbSaver slip-on recoil pads feature a patented three-step recoil reduction technology that reduces up to 70% of felt recoil, and maintains target acquisition. They feature a 12-month warranty by Limbsaver. Any Mesa Tactical telescoping stock kit can be upgraded with an ITT Enidine hydraulic recoil buffer to reduce felt recoil by up to 70%. These hydraulic recoil buffer assemblies are guaranteed by ITT Enidine for 20 million cycles, and replace the receiver extension tubes in our stock kits. SURESHELL™ SHOTSHELL CARRIERS

#92000 SureShell Carrier and Rail for Benelli SuperNova (4-Shell, 12-GA)

Our SureShell shotshell carriers retain ammunition reliably and, being metal, can withstand the rigors of daily use and abuse. Fabricated from aircraft aluminum, they feature an innovative rubber friction retention system and tough construction to endure years of use and abuse. Since their introduction in the spring of 2005, they have rapidly become our best-selling accessories, and an emerging industry standard. SureShell carrier yokes are milled from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum, then bead blasted and mil-spec hard anodized for a rugged non-glare finish. SureShell yokes are secured to application-specific brackets, and some SureShell carriers include high temperature adhesive-backed die-cut rubber gaskets to protect the host shotgun’s finish. #91630

Most of our SureShell shotshell carriers mount directly to the receiver of leading shotgun platforms.

SureShell Carrier and Rail for Remington (6-Shell, 12-GA, 5 in)

REMINGTON
Mesa Tactical offers two methods for mounting SureShell shotshell carriers to Remington 870, Remington 1100 and Remington 11-87 shotguns. Our traditional side mount SureShell carriers attach via flat aluminum brackets to the sides of the shotgun receiver. We also offer unique saddle rail SureShell carriers that combine a shell carrier with a MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) Picatinny rail that accepts optical sights. Saddle mount shell carriers are not yet available for the Remington 887 shotgun.

SIDE MOUNT

The receiver mounting scheme of our receiver mount SureShell carriers for the Remington shotguns depends on a combination of steel fasteners threaded into a steel pin (at the rear) and paired Chicago screws (up front) for more secure attachment to the shotgun without the risk of pinching the receiver. The mounting plate even features a window over the shotgun serial number location, to make it easier for armorers to inventory their weapons.

To use a six- and eight-shot SureShell carrier mounted on the left side of the Remington 870 shotgun, you must use a tactical forend that does not overlap the receiver, or a factory forend that is cut down appropriately. SureFire® forends are fully compatible with our six-shot SureShell carriers, but will need about ½ inch shaved off the end to be installed with our eight-shot SureShell carriers. The factory forend on the Remington 887 must be cut down in any case before installing any SureShell carrier. Remington side mount SureShell carriers are available in both 12 gauge and 20 gauge models (except Remington 887).

SADDLE MOUNT
Mesa Tactical Saddle Rails are aluminum brackets that wrap around the top of the shotgun receiver, with a Picatinny optics rail at the top. The factory trigger pins are replaced by an internally threaded steel pin (in the rear) and paired Chicago screws (up front), to which both sides of the saddle rail are securely bolted. SureShell Saddle Rails feature a MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) Picatinny sight rail along the top, and a four-, six- or eight-shot SureShell shotshell carrier yoke on the left side of the receiver. accommodate Scattergun/ #92130 SureShell Carrier and Wilson style ghost ring Rail for Remington w/ Mag Clamp sights, and extends to the (6-Shell, 12-GA, 20 inch) front of the shotgun receiver (5 inch rail), 2¾ inches past the front of the receiver (8½ inch rail), or just beyond the barrel’s magazine lug (20 inch rail). The 20 inch rails are available with or without the required Magazine Clamp or Barrel Clamp. No gunsmithing is required to install the SureShell Saddle Rail, except for optional forend alterations as described above under side mount carriers. MOSSBERG
There are two mounting methods for SureShell carriers on the Mossberg platforms; side mount and top mount (with integrated optics rail).

#90390 SureShell Carrier for Moss 500/590 (6-Shell, 12-GA)

SIDE MOUNT
The side mount scheme of our shotgun SureShell shotshell carriers for the Mossberg 500/590 substitutes two custom-machined steel Chicago screws for the trigger pin. At the front of the mounting plate, custom retaining steel hardware is used with an elongated extractor screw and a machined key hole in the plate. The Mossberg 930 mounting system is similar, except it uses two sets of Chicago screws in place of the two trigger pins. The mounting plate was designed not to obscure the receiver serial number to make it easier for armorers to inventory their weapons. SureShell shotshell carriers for the Mossberg fit on the left side of the receiver only. You must use a tactical forend that does not significantly overlap the receiver, or a factory forend that is cut down appropriately. SureFire forends will work fine with no alterations.

While the Benelli M2 Tactical semiautomatic and Benelli SuperNova® pump-action shotgun feature factorytapped rail mounting holes in the top of the receiver, the Benelli M4 and M1014 are shipped with a top Picatinny sight rail. These provided us with an opportunity to develop SureShell shotshell carrier mounting solutions for Benelli shotguns that are streamlined and very robust. Our Stock Mount SureShell carriers fit on most Benelli pistol grip fixed stocks. BARREL AND MAGAZINE CLAMPS
Mesa Tactical Magazine and Barrel Clamps provide mounting points for Picatinny rails, weapon lights and sling attachments near the muzzle of a tactical shotgun. Both designs are CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum, Type #92690 Barrel Clamp w/ Rail for III anodized to military specifications. Threaded Moss 930 (12-GA) attachment points feature Timesert steel thread inserts for long thread life, even after repeated mounting and removal of accessories. The Mesa Tactical Magazine Clamp can be used to more securely retain aftermarket or factory magazine extensions, while at the same time offering flexible accessory mounting options near the shotgun muzzle. Magazine clamps are available with #90810 a push-button quick release sling swivel or a Magazine Clamp with Rail for Rem 870 two inch MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) Picatinny rail that can accept standard weapon light mounts. The Magazine Clamp can also be used to mount one inch diameter weapon lights simply by clamping one side to the shotgun barrel and the other side to the light body (recommended for use with #90650 Magazine Clamp with Sling shotguns with tall front sight posts). PICATINNY RAILS
Mesa Tactical has long been a supplier of MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) Picatinny rails for #90770 tactical shotguns. A Picatinny rail Picatinny Rail for Moss 500/590 (Standard Profile, for the mounting of sighting optics 4½ inch) is included with every Mesa Tactical High-tube Telescoping Stock Adapter Kit. Additional Picatinny rails are also available for the mounting of optics and accessories, such as lights and lasers. Adapter-mount rails are designed to be attached to telescoping stock adapter accessory mount points, requiring no alterations to the shotgun. These are also compatible with Mesa Tactical Barrel Clamps and Magazine clamps (see page 18). Receiver-mount rails are made to be mounted onto the receivers of Remington, Mossberg, and Benelli shotguns with pre-drilled and tapped mounting holes. These rails can also be used with weapons that are custom drilled and tapped. RECEIVER MOUNT PICATINNY RAILS
Mesa Tactical provides two methods for mounting Picatinny rails to tactical shotguns. For Remington shotguns, we offer the Mesa Tactical Saddle Rail, which mounts to both side of the receiver and wraps around the top. Top mount rails work with Remington, Mossberg and Benelli shotguns that feature factory tapped rail mounting holes in the top of the receiver.

REMINGTON SADDLE RAILS
Mesa Tactical Saddle Rails are 6061-T6 aluminum brackets that wrap around the top of the shotgun receiver. The factory trigger pins are replaced by an internally threaded steel pin (in #91680 the rear) and paired Saddle Rail for Remington w/ Magazine Clamp Chicago screws (up (12-GA, 20 inch) front), to which both sides of the saddle rail are securely bolted. The saddle rail is Type III anodized for a rugged surface finish. Our Saddle Rail is specially contoured to allow operation of a semi-automatic bolt on the right side of the receiver, so it can be installed on Remington 1100 and Remington 11-87 semi-auto shotguns as well as Remington 870 pump shotguns. REMINGTON SIDE-MOUNT RAIL
Recently Mesa Tactical was asked by several law enforcement agencies to produce a Picatinny rail that can be mounted on the right side of the Remington #92150 870 and allow a weapon light to be secured behind the Side Mount Picatinny Rail ejection port. This is for door breachers who need for Remington 870 (Right Side) more light in tight quarters where lights near the muzzle would be unsuitable. We also offer a rail for the left side of the receiver. These rails are compatible with SureShell carriers mounted on the opposite side of the receiver. As with all our rails, these are is machined to the MIL-STD 1913 specification from 6061-T6 aluminum, and features a mounting system similar to that of our SureShell shotshell carriers.

#92390 Aluminum Picatinny Rail for Benelli M2 Tactical

Mesa Tactical makes Picatinny optics rails for several popular shotgun models that feature pre-drilled and tapped holes in the tops of their receivers. Top rails for the Remington 870 use the tactical hole pattern introduced on some tactical 870 models in the summer of 2007. Mossberg rails attach directly to the receivers of late-model (1997 and later) Mossberg pump shotguns with pre-tapped holes. Standard profile Mossberg rails are for general purpose optics mounting applications. Tall profile rails are only for use with Mesa Tactical High-tube telescoping stock adapters, as an alternative to adapter mount rails. Receiver mount rails allow easy access to the Mossberg safety switch. The hardware included with the Remington and Mossberg rails are for pump action shotguns. They can be used with semi-auto versions (Remington 1100 and Remington 11-87, or Mossberg 930) by grinding the fasteners down to the appropriate lengths. Rails for the Benelli M2 Tactical and Benelli SuperNova Tactical mount just forward of the ghost ring sights, extending to the front of the receiver. Adapter Mount Picatinny Rails fasten to the accessory mount points on the sides of Mesa Tactical High-tube telescoping stock adapters, not on the shotgun receiver. They can also be used with our Barrel Clamps and #91130 Magazine Clamps, which feature the same mountAdapter Mount Standard Profile Picatinny Rail, ing hole pattern as our stock adapters. 3-1/2” Standard profile rails like the Stubby adhere to the minimum height requirement of the MIL-STD-1913 (NATO STANAG 4694) specification, and should not be used for mounting optics with the High-tube telescoping stock adapters. SLING LOOP AND HOOK LOOP SOLUTIONS

#91340 Push-button Sling Swivel Magazine Cap for Remington 870/1100/11-87

Many operators have requested a more robust sling mounting alternative to our push-button sling swivels. Our answer is a line of rugged steel sling loops and hook loops designed to be fastened to the mount points of our telescoping stock adapters, or to the receivers of popular shotgun models. Sling loops are designed to accept USGI standard 1¼ inch webbing. Hook loops accommodate H&K-style quick-release sling hooks. Our hook loops and sling loops are stamped 11 gauge steel, with a mil-spec manganese phosphate finish.

RECEIVER MOUNT SLING LOOPS AND HOOK LOOPS
Our innovative Sling and Hook Loops provide #90940 Push-button Sling Swivel a way to securely attach a tactical sling directly for Remington 870/1100/11-87 to the shotgun receiver. They are excellent solutions for single-point slings, or for the receiver end attachment of three-point slings. The can be employed as alternatives to Burnsed loops or other attachment methods that are incompatible with custom stocks.

REMINGTON

The Remington shotgun’s rear trigger group pin is replaced by a stainless steel standoff with female threads, into which the steel sling loop retainer, or bushing, can be tightly screwed. The sling or hook loop is free to rotate about the retainer. A rubber gasket keeps the sling loop from marring the receiver finish. Our Push-button Sling Swivel Mount is secured to the shotgun in the same way as the sling loop, except it allows the use of a sling swivel that can be removed from the weapon with the press of a button. We include a US-made Push Button Sling swivel with the mount. Sling mounts are finished with mil-spec manganese phosphate. All our receiver mount sling attaching solutions are fully compatible with our four-shot and sixshot receiver mount SureShell shotshell carriers (but not the eight-shot versions).

In addition to sling mounts replacing the rear trigger pin, we also offer a limited line of hook loops that mount behind the Remington 870 receiver, between the receiver and the factory stock. These were produced at the request of a large US Federal enforcement agency. Hook Loop for The receiver mounting scheme of our Mossberg 500/590/835 sling and hook loops for the Mossberg 500 and Mossberg 590 substitutes custom-machined Chicago fasteners for the trigger pin. The sling or hook loop is free to rotate about the retainer. A rubber gasket keeps the sling loop from marring the receiver finish. Our Push-button Sling Swivel Mount is secured to the shotgun in the same way as the sling loop, except it allows the use of a sling swivel that can be removed from the weapon with the press of a button. We include a US-made Push Button Sling swivel with the mount. Sling mounts are finished with mil-spec manganese phosphate. All our receiver mount sling attaching solutions are fully compatible with our four-shot and sixshot receiver mount SureShell shotshell carriers (but not the eight-shot versions).

BENELLI

For the Benelli M1014 semi-automatic shotgun, we substitute custom-machined steel fasteners for the split pin in the skeleton stock’s pistol grip assembly. Our Push-button Sling Swivel Mount is secured to the shotgun in the same way as the sling loop, except it allows the use of a sling swivel that can be removed from the weapon with the press of a button. We include a US-made Push Button Sling swivel with the mount. Sling mounts are finished with mil-spec manganese phosphate. These sling and hook loop mounts are only compatible with the skeleton style stock for the Benelli M1014. Some drilling and fitting will be required.

MAGAZINE CAP SLING LOOPS AND HOOK LOOPS
Our steel Sling Mount Magazine Caps for the Remington 870 and Remington 1100 replace the factory magazine caps and provide forward sling attachments for threepoint and carry slings. Sling loops and hook loops are indexed to the barrel to position the sling to the right or to the left, instead of straight down, to keep it out of the way of SureFire weapon light forends. The Ambi Hook Loop features two loops hanging to either side. Sling mounts are finished with mil-spec manganese phosphate. Sling Mount Magazine Caps fit Remington 870 Police, Tactical and HD models only. They can also be installed on Remington 1100 and 11-87 models with ball bearing magazine cap detents in their forends. Our Magazine Extension Hook Loops are available for the Benelli M2 and Benelli M4 shotguns, as well as Vang Comp magazine extensions for Remington shotguns (before you ask, #90730 the Scattergun/Wilson Combat sling Ambi Hook Loop for Magazine loops are permanently installed and Extension (Vang Comp, 12-GA) cannot be replaced with hook loops). Magazine Extension Hook Loops feature a tough mil-spec manganese phosphate finish. Ambi style sling attachments feature mounts on both sides of the receiver. Special retainer clip pliers are required for installation!

Factory tactical stocks for most Benelli shotguns include a stamped steel sling plate in the center of the stock. We have produced a replacement stamping that features a circular hook loop instead of the sling loop for use with H&K style (dog leash) sling hooks. Our Rear Hook Loop fits all Benelli platforms except the Benelli M4 (in which the sling plate is actually glued in place), and features a tough mil-spec manganese phosphate finish.
