Jason David, former Cornerback with the New Orleans Saints and Super Bowl XLI Champion with the Indianapolis Colts, is a native of Covina, California, graduate of Charter Oak High School and attended Washington State University on a four-year football scholarship. In 2007, Jason and his family lost a loved one to kidney disease. Deeply moved by this loss, Jason strives to continue fighting for those who suffer from it and the families affected. The proceeds from JDCF’s Celebrity Golf Classic will be donated towards Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and Kaiser Permanente-Baldwin Park Nephrology departments to assist with research. About the Camp: Jason hopes to show youth that anyone can do anything if they believe in themselves and demonstrate hard work and determination. Jason also enjoys providing kids and community members with a life time experience of meeting multiple NFL players and being able to learn from them hands on! Registration is free of charge and can take place online, via mail, or at the designated sign up appearances. The camp slots are capped at 350 (last year we had a record 313 participants) and based upon a first come first serve basis. The camp is open to youth age 7-18. Participants will be divided into groups based on their age and will participate in circuits headed by the NFL players and coaches. Lunch, pep talk, and Q & A session from the NFL counselors.
