Nurses and Caregivers,You know more than anyone that leadership is an action, not a title. It doesn’t matter if your title is “nurse manager” or “charge nurse,” you make tough decisions each day, demonstrate patience as much as you can, and exercise leadership even when no one is watching. Your dedication to nursing is a gift to seniors across the State of Kansas. To help you stay energized and informed, LeadingAge Kansas invites you to attend the Nurse Leadership Conference, November 8-9, 2012 in Wichita, Kansas. This 1 ½ day event will emphasize nurse leadership, while also providing clinical education in the areas of falls prevention, dementia care, and understanding the RUG IV changes. You’ll also hear a practical perspective from UnitedHealthcare on how KanCare will affect your day-to-day job responsibilities. We hope you’ll join us!
