“Thank you to all involved for giving us such a perfect day. A day where we can truly feel at ease. A day where we can relax and put our guard down because we know no one is judging our children or looking at us with pity in their eyes. It is a day of love, compassion and education.” - Georgetta, Jackson, NJ

“Life with a special needs child is extremely challenging, physically and emotionally. It was so nice to enjoy a relaxing day with our son in a community with so much support. We went by ourselves, but ended up meeting many friends we knew from other special needs venues. We want to thank all of the sponsors and the many volunteers who worked so hard to ensure we had a wonderful day. We truly did! ” - Kim, Linden, NJ

We start at 9 AM with a Hawaiian prayer circle led by Surfer’s Healing

“The amount of volunteers and exhibitors that come out and devote their time for the children is so greatly appreciated.” - Maria, Woodland Park, NJ

“Very informative and entertaining for everyone in the family.” - Haydee, Budd Lake, NJ
“Our family is so appreciative of having access to this wonderful event. We had one of the best days ever! We met new friends, watched our son show interest in new activities, and the Surfers Healing surfing experience was beyond our expectations. Every single volunteer we came in contact with was friendly and helpful. You are all angels sent from heaven.” - Dina, Brick, NJ

“My 5 year old son, Brendan, had the best day of his life! What an amazing event! Thank you for giving him this perfect experience. We'll never forget it.” Meghan, Port Reading, NJ

“This event was truly wonderful. It was our first time and it proved to be the most rewarding day. My children were able to make new friendships and try new things. My son's exact words: ‘This is the best day of my life.’ Thank you for what you continue to do for our families. These moments given to us are priceless!” - Jeanette, Woodbridge, NJ

Autism Family Services of NJ hosts an exclusive beach fundraiser each year at The Ocean Place Resort and Spa in Long Branch, NJ. Attendees enjoy live calypso music, lobster dinner and cocktails, and various raffles and silent auction items from premiere venues across NJ and NY. The Seaside Soiree is an opportunity for sponsors and supporters of the Beach Bash to come together for an evening with of the

ocean as their backdrop.

“The beach bash was an amazing opportunity to network, relax, gain new insights, and have some fun! We were able to just go to the beach; there were smiles, not stares or judgement. So often when we go out, our children get noticed - and not always in a good way. The beach bash enables us to spend a day with other families who understand and accept our special children just the way they are. I noticed who the sponsors of the event were, and I plan to patronize them - if they are willing to give kids who are often forgotten an amazing day out, I am more than happy to utilize their stores and products and will encourage my family and friends to do the same!” - Erin-Leigh, Edison, NJ
