Whether your intent is to become a certified project manager or if you simply i l want t to t become b more productive d ti in i your current t role, l this thi is i the th program for you. Tanzania Global Learning Agency (TaGLA) in collaboration with VINSYS (India) has organized a tailor-made workshop that build a solid foundation of essential project management terminology, processes, and tools. Projects can be simple or complex. While simple ones can be managed with a little bit of planning and a healthy dose of common sense, complex projects need a more formal approach. In this course you can learn the key elements of good planning such as estimating, establishing project boundaries (scope) and scheduling. You will also learn how to anticipate potential problems (risks) and ways to mitigate them. This program is based on the internationally recognized standard: A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge® (PMBOK), ( ), which ensures that y you are learning g p project j management g methodologies, concepts, and terminology recognized worldwide and applicable across all industries. Workshop objective The objective of this workshop is to understand the essential elements of a project management foundation; Describe the concepts of project life cycle phases and project management process groups and how they are different; List and describe the ten project management knowledge areas; Understand and describe all project management processes and how they applied on projects and meet or exceed the formal project management education requirement for the CAPM® or PMP® certification exam. Workshop output Upon completion of this program, you will be able to put that new immediately The trainee will be awarded with knowledge to use immediately. certificate of completion and to those who are interested in the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) ®, certification as well as PMP Exam Preparation will be ready to do examination. Targeting audience: This program is designed for anyone graduate who wishes to improve their project management knowledge or has a desire to understand more about project management as a profession f and at some future f point, may be interested in obtaining a project management certification. There are no specific prerequisites for this program. If you are interested in taking the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification, this program will meet the educational prerequisites for the exam; however, there are other experience prerequisites for the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification that you must meet if you wish to take that exam.
Venue: TaGLA, IFM Dates: 3 3– 7 March 2014 Workshop fees:Training fee is USD 950. (excluding exam) to cover course material, conference roomslight refreshments, medical check-ups and certification. Participants are expected to meet their travel and accommodation costs while workshop attending the workshop.
