It is a Regional Accreditation Institution It is a system of quality assessment, improvement, accreditation of higher education institutions in It follows international systems like that of EQUIS and AACBSB with the major emphasis On Getting the self-assessment document right for the schools being accredited as the first step. This is followed by the visit of the international SAQS Peer Review Team/Committee to the school. Based on the Peer Review Report and Recommendations, The final school-wise decisions are made by the SAQS Accreditation Awarding Committee.

It system which provides a quality assurance and accreditation framework based on regional and international experiences and perspectives. It has specific criteria criteria developed national and international standing. Its policy is determined by a broad based SAQS Council. Process is managed by the SAQS Committee. The major inputs for the quality assurance and accreditation process are generated by the management school found eligible for SAQS, through its Self-Assessment Report. Followed by the visit of the international SAQS Peer Review Team/Committee to the school. Based on the Peer Review Report and Recommendations, the final school-wise decisions are made by the SAQS Accreditation Awarding Committee.

SAQS forms of Chairman and Members  AMDISA Secretariat coordinates SAQS activities.  Workshops have also been utilized to train about 59 senior academic administrators from the region as Mentors and Peer Reviewers.  Mentors guide the interested schools in developing their Self Assessment Reports.  Peer Reviewers provide the Schools real added value by offering  The benefits of an international academic and strategic audit.

THE ACCREDITATION PROCESS? Ex. Indian School of Business (ISB) Hyderabad . A collegiate institution offering degrees in business administration or accounting may volunteer for AACSB Accreditation review. As a first step, The institution applies for a decision on its eligibility for accreditation. The initial accreditation process includes a self-evaluation, As well as a peer review based on 20 standards outlined by the agency. These standards are broadly classified under Strategic Management Standards, Participants Standards Assurance of Learning standards. Institution enters into a program of periodic reviews of strategic improvement progress to maintain its accreditation. AACSB Accreditation process is systematic and it takes a lot of involved effort to comply with each and every standard of AACSB

HOW DOES A SCHOOL BECOME AACSB-ACCREDITED?
 

According to the AACSB International 1, a B-school must be a member of AACSB International and offer degreegranting programs in business or management. 2, B-school may apply for AACSB accreditation. The school’s application is carefully check to ensure it is eligible to pursue AACSB Accreditation. Once it is determined that a school has the potential to be accredited, it works with mentors, committees, and AACSB staff to develop a Standards Alignment Plan. 3 B-school follows through with its alignment plan and meets the AACSB standards, review committees And The AACSB Board of Directors decide whether or not a school should be accredited. In its entirety, the AACSB accreditation process is rigorous and requires a significant amount of work to achieve. For the purpose of determining inclusion in AACSB Accreditation,

Normally, extensions of the "traditional business subjects," including interdisciplinary, integrated courses, majors, programs, concentrations, or areas of emphasis, will be included in the scope of AACSB Accreditation reviews consistent with Eligibility Criteria D.

Yes.  Schools that earn AACSB Accreditation should maintain accounts every 5 years.  Strategic and focused on the delivery of highquality education, continuous improvement, market relevance, and currency.


EQUIS (EUROPEAN QUALITY SYSTEM) OF EUROPEAN FEDERATION FOR MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT (EFMD)

With companies recruiting worldwide, with students choosing to get their education outside their home countries, and with schools building alliances across borders  There is growing need to identify those institutions in other countries that deliver high quality education in international management.  EQUIS is not primarily focused on the MBA or any other specific programme.

It is sinces teaching excellence since 1988. Located in Kansas City ACBSP has been an active player around the world. It is the second agency to be recognized by Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the apex regulatory advisory body of USA to be recognized as an international accreditation agency. ACBSP has a formal tie-up with the Global quality awards organization, Malcolm Balridge Award Foundation. As such the accreditations done by ACBSP conforms to the standards set by Malcolm Balridge Award for Bschools.

ACBSP ACCREDITATION PROCESS
3 step Process :1. Provision of an official document from an appropriate government organization stating recognition, accreditation, and/or your right to grant degrees. 2. Payment of the annual duesUS $ 1350 (applicable till June 30,2013). Payment can be made using a cheque drawn on a US bank, by credit card, or by using wire transfer instructions. 3. Submittal of a Member Enrollment Form is the final step. The form can be downloaded from the link Each campus of the school is treated as a separate member school and as such the ACBSP annual fees have to be paid for each campus being included in the process. E.X. the Bangalore and Delhi campus may be considered as two different entitles for ACBSP accreditation purposes even though they may operate under a common name.
