Firms dont teach/train you but you will have to learn from the work they give you. Depending on the firm, generally interns get more of research work which is very important in the legal field.

Mumbai is the best place to work though for litigation, Delhi can also be considered. All the big law firms have an office in Mumbai and most of the work especially corporate is done in Mumbai. It may work to your disadvantage if you tell the firm that you had received offers but did not take up for some reason (unless the firm feels you had a genuine problem). You can orally communicate the fact during your interview if you have a strong reason for not taking up internship. 0 0
