Bishop Annette Rivers “Destiny Determined”
Ministry for Annette Rivers began in 1982, at an early teen age, she served willingly as a member on the public relations committee of a COGIC in Dallas Texas under the pastorate of the late Superintendent Levi C Gant, Annette was being prepared for the assignments that had been preordained for her life in ministry. Since 1995, Pastor Annette Rivers has served under the stable leadership of Bishop Jacqueline Davidson, Founder/Overseer of PowerHouse Word of Deliverance Holiness Outreach Ministries, Inc. Pastor Rivers areas of ministry services included Fine Arts, Armour Bearer, Minister, and Evangelist. In 2009 Pastor Rivers was appointed as Overseeing Pastor of PowerHouse Word Of Deliverance Churches, Inc. As overseeing Pastor, her role and duties to Bishop Davidson and the PowerHouse Ministries, Inc is similar to that of Assistant Pastor to the Pastor of a church. Pastor Rivers assist Bishop Davidson in the supervision of Church and Ministry development and operations internationally. Bishop Jacqueline Davidson has played a major role in Pastor Rivers Life for over 20 years. The Bishop recalls “ As a classroom educator, Annette would visit my class and would assist me with students; grading papers, tutoring, filing etc. In addition to my professional career as a educator, I was a minister of the Gospel, Annette begin to assist me by driving me to the different ministry engagements, she later became my armour bearer.” Bishop Jacqueline Davidson states “Annette is a loyal, trust-worthy, and dedicated young women, and has remained a total asset to the PowerHouse Word of Deliverance Ministries, Inc. I thank God for her.” Pastor Annette Rivers states” destiny is defined as an event that will inevitably happen, I am a firm believing that we are the determinate of our destiny, destiny doesn’t just happen. I believe that fulfilling our destiny is determined by our response to an event or events that happen and have happened in our lives.” I had no knowledge that I would be Pastor, not to mention and overseeing pastor of an international ministry. I witnessed family members prayer over holiday food until it was cold. I witnessed individual in large denominations preach holiness and how great God is, but,
to actually witness the walk match the talk, my first to witness has been Bishop Davidson.” In 2012, Pastor Annette Rivers was installed as Bishop Annette Rivers of PowerHouse Word of Deliverance Holiness Outreach Ministries, Inc. directly under Chief Apostle Jacqueline Davidson.
