My name is Ms. Amor S. Collera. I am a Registered Nurse based here in Chesapeake, Virginia, USA. I am an alumna of the Far Eastern University Institute of Nursing. Currently, I am a candidate for the degree of Master of Arts in Nursing at the Distance Education at the Philippine Women¶s University. I am now on my Thesis Writing. Bullying is a growing concern here in the US, from schools to workplaces. Studies have shown that it affects the health of an individual and in some workplaces it affects employee retention. It has been a problem that government and private institutions have developed and adopted resolutions of zero tolerance on bullying, also known as lateral or horizontal violence. My Thesis is entitled, ³Workplace Bullying in Selected Metro Manila Hospitals.´ As far as I know, no similar studies have been done in the Philippines, especially in the workplaces. This has motivated me to do a research on it for my Thesis Writing. In view of this, I would institution, The Capitol capacities. Please be utmost confidentiality like to ask your permission to conduct the study in your Medical Center. The population would be Nurses in all reassured that the data gathered will be treated with and no Nursing Care activities/treatments will be
