SUMMER BIDDY CAMPS
We provide half-day camps centered around various themes including sports, crafts, animals, the environment and more. Our carefully selected, well trained staff will guide and teach your children the behaviors and values that will enable them to grow and mature as individuals. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: Register your child for 2 weeks and get their 3rd week at half price!* *Must pay in full at registration. PRESCHOOL DISCOVERY CENTER
The 2012-2013 preschool discovery center school year will run from September 4, 2012 - May 24, 2013. We will continue to offer classes for our 3 years olds on Tuesday and Thursday, and for our 4-5 year olds on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9-12. There will be no afternoon enrichment available for 4-5 year olds. EARLY BIRD SPECIAL: Register your child for 8 months and get the 9th month free!* *Must pay in full at registration. YMCA ARK CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
On Monday, June 11, the YMCA will open the doors to our Ark Child Development Center located at the William K. Nitterhouse Family Program Center on Coldbrook Avenue. We are currently accepting registrations for children ages 3-5 to participate in this program. The registration fee is $25. Any questions about the program may be directed to Melanie Cook at 263-8508.
BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY
Date: Saturday, April 21 from 8:30 - 10 a.m. YMCA families with children ages 8 and younger are invited to the Y for a Family Breakfast & Easter Egg Hunt. Children will get to meet and take pictures with the Easter bunny. Join us for some free family fun! This event is for YMCA members only. To secure your family’s spot for the event, pre-registration is required by Wednesday, April 18 th. Email Jen Gossert or call 263-8508 for more information.
IT’S MORE THAN A GAME
Indoor Ultimate Frisbee 3v3 Tournament
Saturday, April 28. Cost is $50 per team. Registration is due by April 24th. You may sign up at the front desk, or print the registration form. All questions can be directed to Chris Misner at 263-8508.
HEALTHY KIDS DAY
Mark Your Calendar! Sunday, April 29 from 1-4, we will be hosting our Annual Healthy Kids Day. This event is free to the public. We will have vendors from the community promoting services to ensure healthier families, as well as demonstrations of YMCA classes and programs. Come and enjoy this time with your family!

Do you have a green thumb? We have a volunteer opportunity for you! We will be planting shrubs at our new William K. Nitterhouse Family Program Center on Coldbrook Avenue from 7 a.m. - 3 p.m. All help is welcome!

CO-ED ULTIMATE FRISBEE LEAGUE

The Chambersburg YMCA will be starting our Co-Ed Ultimate Frisbee League. Games will be held at the William K. Nitterhouse Family Program Center on Coldbrook Avenue. There must be 7 players on each team, with a minimum of 2 females on the field at all times. Team registration fee is $100 Please register at the Front Desk. CO-ED KICKBALL TOURNAMENT
Play Ball
One Day Only: Saturday, May 19th , the Chambersburg YMCA will be hosting it’s annual Co-Ed Kickball Tournament. This event is for men and women ages 18 and older. Each team must field at least 3 females, with 8-10 players on the field. Up to 12 players may kick. Team registration fee is $100 Please register at the Front Desk. 5K WALK/RUN/PUMP-N-RUN & 1K FUN RUN

The Chambersburg YMCA 5K, 5K Pump-n-Run and 1K Fun Run will take place on June 2, 2012. The Pump-n-Run challenges those individuals who not only work hard on the road but hit the weights too. The Pump-n-Run takes the number of times a person benches their own body weight and subtracts 30 seconds for each repetition from their 5K time. The 5K race is a 3.1 mile run/walk through Chambersburg. The 1K Fun Run is designed for kids and adults of all ages. SUMMER MINI SWIM LESSONS

SUMMER SWIM TEAM REGISTRATION
The Chambersburg Chargers have just come home from Nationals, and are signing up new and current swim team members for our Summer Swim Team. You may register your swimmer through the first day of practice on May 14. Each Charger swimmer must be a Chambersburg YMCA member. For a list of fees and practice schedules, please click here.

AROUND THE YMCA
We would like to remind parents that children 6 and under must be accompanied by a parent in the water. When reserving racquetball courts, please remember that you will need to stop at the front desk and pick up a key to unlock the doors to play. We apologize for the inconvenience, however this will assist us in keeping the walls and floors in good condition for our members. From May 29– June 5 King Alexander Gymnasium and Racquetball Court #2 will be closed for repairs. We will be changing to Summer Hours on Sunday, May 27. Click here to view the changes.
