One Step Closer
We are currently living in Fort Myers, FL. which is our second planned location to continue to build our partnership team. It is great being back in Florida, reconnecting with our old friends and making new friends, as we share how God is leading in our lives. It has been a blessing to them and us. Once we landed in Maine to begin raising support, we prayed that we would leave with 20% of our partnership team accomplished. And Praise God, we left the first week of April will 21% of our support raised!
Bethel Cincinnati Church
For the past few years Pastor Brian Taylor has been praying for the city of Cincinnati, where he has a vision to birth an Every Nation church. Thousands of families and professionals have been attracted to Cincinnati by the rebuilding of the downtown area. There are numerous opportunities to reach college students because of several nearby universities. God has already been doing something great there, within the city, and He is calling a team of obedient believers to join Him to reach this city and to touch the world. Historically, Cincinnati has been a city racially divided with its most recent racial riots in 2001. Bethel Cincinnati Church will bring the image of what the kingdom of God would look like: people from different races and ethnicities coming together to worship God and live out life together. Our church will achieve this goal by always uplifting our core values which are Devotion, Diversity, and Discipleship (more on that in our next newsletter.) For us to be financial ready to move to Cincinnati, OH in August. For diligence, perseverance, and humbleness as we continue to raise support. For open doors and open hearts at the University of Cincinnati.

Different Location, Same Mission
God is calling Kelsey and me to move to Cincinnati, OH to help start this church and build a campus ministry from the ground up. Yes, it wasn’t our original plan but we are excited to obediently listen to where God is calling us to reach the next generation. One thing is for sure, obedience to God rarely equates to playing it safe. We might be pursing an unfamiliar campus but our plan remains the same: effectively engage students who are far from God, from all different backgrounds, with the Gospel. We want to be able to remove barriers that keep students from encountering Jesus. Establish students in their relationship with God and in relationships with other believers. Equip and empower them to preach the Gospel boldly and make disciples who make more disciples; we want to see our discipleship process replicated to the thousands of students at the University of Cincinnati.
