ASSISTANT CHIEF ENGINEER
Gili Lankanfushi Maldives is seeking an experienced Assistant Chief Engineer with a strong technical background to join our multicultural and diverse team. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will assist in overseeing the day to day operations of the Engineering department and preventive maintenance program ensuring that the facilities, space and equipment remains in good repair with a minimum downtime.
Qualification and Experience
Degree/ Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/ Civil Engineer or relevant disciplines Three to five years experience within the Engineering department of a luxury hotel/resort Experience in construction, preventative maintenance, energy and waste management, water desalination and purification, fire safety and general health and safety. Sound knowledge of all statutory legislation and codes of practice. Ability to train, coach and develop a team in an entrepreneurial and progressive environment. Excellent at organizing and planning work load and understand the need to prioritise. Outstanding communication skills in both written and verbal English. Familiar with IT software used in engineering
