AT&T OPENS NEW AUTHORIZED DEALER LOCATION IN LEMONT
Lemont retail store provides AT&T mobile lifestyle options in new convenient location
LEMONT, ILL., MARCH 19, 2014 — AT&T is opening a new authorized dealer location in Lemont to meet the growing needs of its customers in the area. The store will provide customers with options for the latest devices, accessories and services, like Digital Life and Uverse from AT&T. The new store, owned and operated by Custom Cellular, is nearly 1100 square feet and is located at 1217 S. State Street in Lemont, near the intersection of State Street and W 127th Street. “Our goal is to become America’s premier retailer by providing an exceptional experience in every interaction and that begins with having stores conveniently located for our customers,” said Dave Fine, vice president and general manager of AT&T Illinois & Wisconsin. “AT&T customers looking for the latest wireless applications and services, smartphones, tablets and accessories now have another great location to find the right solution to fit their mobile lifestyle.” "Smartphones and tablets are changing the way we communicate and improving how businesses operate. AT&T’s current retail expansion comes amid the company’s Project Velocity IP (VIP), a multi-year plan to invest for growth, announced in 2012. Through this investment, AT&T is supporting its customers’ growing desire for high-quality, fast wireless and wired services. As part of Project VIP, AT&T is deploying small cell technology, macro cells, and Distributed Antenna Systems, which will increase the density of our wireless network. The wireless network densification will further improve network quality and increase spectrum efficiency
