The institute is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India & affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical
University, Noida. The program allows the latest pedagogy & a strict method of teaching with lectures,
discussions, Practical, tutorial, assignments, training in industries etc. The aim of the course is to disseminate
knowledge and to foster exchange of ideas between academic community and industrial organizations and
challenges of entrepreneurship, develop entrepreneurship skills among the students with potential of
undertaking the emphasis on over-all growth of budding engineers with clarity of concept, sharpening of mental
reflex etc. The students are provided extensive practical training in different engineering & applied science
laboratories so that they can be efficient in making practical applications in future.
Eligibility
For Admission to the First Year of B. Tech., candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board
or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University as given in information
brochure of UPSEE-2012. The candidate must have clearly passed with minimum 45% marks for General & OBC
and 40% for SC/ST candidates in aggregate. The candidate is essentially required to pass in each subject of the
subject groups mentioned in the information brochure UPSEE-2012 without grace marks. 85% of the seats are
filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE-UPTU), depending on the rank obtained by the
student. Counseling sessions for the same are called in 9 cities and announced in leading Newspapers.15% seats
are filled by the colleges through Direct admissions under UPTU guidelines.

The order of preference for these Management quota admissions is indicated below- All B.Tech 1st year-

(i)

Rank in SEE-UPTU

(ii)

Rank in AIEEE

(iii)

Score of 10+2 with minimum 45% marks in PCM

B.Tech 2nd year - Direct Admission:
(i)

Rank in SEE-UPTU

(ii)

Diploma in Engineering With 50% or B.Sc. (Math) 50% marks.

Lapsed Seats
Lapsed seats are those where in the students who opted for a college during counseling and were offered
admission by UPTU but did not join subsequently or withdrawn, thereby creating a set of vacant seats which are
termed as Lapsed seats. These seats may be filled by subsequent counseling of UPTU or the University may
authorize the college to fill up the seats, if counseling sessions are over in which case the procedure /eligibility of
Management Quota seats applies.
Registration
Students seeking admission through the Management quota or against anticipated lapsed seats; (and meeting
the eligibility criteria as stated above), may register with the Admission Cell along with a demand draft of Rs.
30,000/- drawn in favor of the College where admission is being sought, payable at Mathura and appear in an
assessment test and await their turn. The admission will be announced as per the laid down procedure.

Admission Procedure
The Prospectus along with admission form can be obtained from the institute by paying Rs. 500/- in cash or
through post by sending Demand Draft of Rs. 550/- in favour of the Institute payable at Mathura. Admission
Form can also be downloaded from www.sanskriti.edu.in and duly filled form can be sent to the college along
with the Demand Draft of requisite amount.
