Entry fee = £25 1. You may use ONLY the materials supplied by us. a. b. c. d. e. f. g.
1 x sheet of 6mm x 1200mm x 2400 plywood 2 x 25mm x 50mm x 2400mm prepared timber 1 x broom handle (to be used for paddle) 1 x tube of quick drying polyurethane glue (requires skeleton gun) 30 x 25mm nails 30 x 20mm screws 1 x roll of grey cloth tape
2. Any templates used MUST be either cardboard or paper. 3. You may use ONLY hand tools; this can include rechargeable power tools. 4. ALL vessels to be “Sea Checked” by RNLI personnel before the race starts 5. Lifejackets MUST be worn by anyone going afloat. Please bring your own. 6. Your team number must be printed on your boat and paddle before the race starts 7. The winner is the first team to get their boat + paddle from The Stone Quay, round the course and into the finish area on the Main Beach. 8. Depending on the weather we may choose to limit the race to 16 teams so we can get people undercover if its raining. Enter early to avoid disappointment!
