UMW Sewing Bee — T The he Women in God's Grace Circle will be having a Sewing  Bee to create create school bags for UM UMCOR COR (United (United Methodist Methodist Commi Committee ttee on Relief) Relief) on Saturday, June 16, 9:00-12:00 in the Fellowship Hall. Sewing skills are not required! We also need people to cut, pin and press the bags. UMYF   — The The Berkeley youth will be fundraising the coming weekends for the 30  Hour Famine, Famine, June 16 and and 17. The youth will fast and and learn ab about out hunge hungerr in their community and globally. All funds raised will go to the Christian organi zation World World Vision. They They would app appreciate reciate yyour our support financia financially lly and al also so through your prayers. Each participant has a bag where you can leave supportive notes and let them know you will be praying for them as they fast. Food donations always welcome —Berkele  —Berkeley’s y’s Food Pantry Pantry and the Church of the Nazarene’s Food Assistance Program can always use non-perishable non-perishable food. When you shop, consider adding items for neighbors in need. Es pecially needed are peanut butter and canned meat or fish. Baskets for donations are in the narthex.  Donut volunteers —   —   Donuts and and coffee, YU YUM! M! Are you on onee of many w who ho enjoy donuts and coffee on the deck after Sunday School? In order to continue this  fun tradition, tradition, volunteers are needed . It's simple. Just pick up the donuts at  River City Donuts (W (Wm. m. Cannon and and Manchaca, Manchaca, right next next to Church's Church's Fried Chicken) and turn in your receipt to the church office for reimbursement.  It’s that easy!
