CAPM Exam Details
 PMI (Project Management Institute) is the world’s largest not-for-

profit organization for the project management profession.
 PMI’s single certification – CAPM (Certified Associate in Project

Management) – tests on individual’s knowledge of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK- Guide), the standard of Project management’s generally recognized good practices.
 The CAPM certification offers recognition to the practitioners who

are starting a career in project management as well as project team members who wish to demonstrate their project management knowledge.  The CAPM certification is designed for the project team members and entry-level managers, as well as qualified undergraduate and graduate students who want a credential to recognize their value to project team performance.  Individuals who carry the CAPM designation after their name enjoy high level of credibility from PMP credential holders, project managers, employers, and peers.

experience applying the project management skills for the real-world scenarios. Questions with 2 or more right answers Questions with extraneous information (not relevant to the question). Questions with made-up terms to trick those who do not know the right answer. Excessively wordier phrasing questions

 Your exam results are reported in two ways :
1. An overall PASS/FAIL result score is generated depending on the

number of questions you answered correctly.
2. The second level of results is the assignment of one of three

proficiency levels (Highly Proficient, Moderately Proficient, and Below Proficient) to each chapter. This provides direction about your strengths and weaknesses.
