An attempt at time travel romance.A pinpoint of brilliant light grew in the middle of the room, expanded into a shimmering oval as large as a normal sized door. The noise grew as the light did and stopped abruptly when the oval stretched to its full height to hang as a living mirror, inches above the wood plank floor.
