Responsibilities included management of approximately 25 technicians in maintena nce of cell sites, and surrounding premises of each shelter. Tower, HVAC, gener ator, grounds maintenance, and MTSO mechanical, and electrical systems for Verizon Wir eless, Qwest, and AT&T telecommunications networks. My area included Arkansas, Oklahoma, West TN, Missouri, and part of Mississippi. Provide leadership in main taining regular quarterly Pms on all cell site locations, and MTSO's in a timely manner. Handle emergency outages, and provide resolutions to network, and syste m outages on demand, as needed. 2008 to 2009 Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) ICE San Jose, Costa Rica Position: RF Engineering Contractor Responsible for RF Design, and optimization of GSM cellular system, and build ou t as directed by ICE. Monitor dropped calls, blocked calls, and loss of transmi ssions, and offer advice on hand off, and capacity issues. 2006 to 2008 Sprint/Nextel Little Rock, Arkansas Position: RF Engineer II (Wireless In Building Design Engineer) Responsible for the daily monitoring, and design of multiple in building project s for Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma. Position: RF Performance Engineer/Manager. Job responsibilities Include: PCS build-out and cellular system operations in Tulsa, OK and Little Rock, Arkan sas markets. In Tulsa, Oklahoma I provided training, to approximately six person nel regarding testing of various RF configurations, including omni, and sectors platforms. Implement RF test antenna configurations on roof top structures, and cranes for fine tuning of the RF propagation model. Trained personnel in the use TEMS units, and system performance, and evaluation software utilizing GPS tracking data. Negotiate with vendors regarding price, and delivery of services in a timel y manner. Provide as-built specifications to contractors for the proper completi on of the project. Trained Wireless Integration Engineers for daily routines of maintenance, etc., on Northern Telecom communication's equipment. 1992 - 1995 ALLTEL MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS, INC. Position: Mid South Field Engineer Job responsibilities Include: Responsible for Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri and Oklahoma new cell s ite construction. Preview of cell site property, and recommendation of land lease, and other param eters which involved access, and easement which was then passed on to Alltels re al estate department. Provide guidance, and adherence of corporate cell site grounding standards. Monitor construction access, and easement to as per Alltel standards. Construction of cell site shelter pad, delivery of building. Review tower construction, and correct antenna orientation as per engineering Co nsult with testing vendor for concrete structure and foundations compliance. Monitor the timely delivery of TELCO, or T-Span installation at the site. Perform final punch list, and review with general contractor. Work with local operations team to perform RF performance, and call processing f or service.
