La idea es ayudar y contribuir a la educacion de la poblacion hispana hacerca de lo facil y practico que es cosinar y comer sano, balanceado y nutritivo.. Desgraciadamente tenemos el dudoso record de tener un porcentaje muy alto de personas con sobrepeso, lo cual conlleva a niveles altos en enfermedades como diabetis,enfermedades coronarias , alto colesterol, transtornos respiratorios y todo lo que conlleva este problema...(sin nombrar problemas como auto-estima personal).

The idea is to help and contribute to the education of the Hispanic population about what is easy and practical kitchen and eating healthy, balanced and healthy .. Unfortunately we have the dubious record of having a very high percentage of overweight people, which leads to high levels in diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, respiratory disorders and all that goes with this problem ... (without naming problems like self-esteem). Start with hands on experience in the industry. Get your first job as a dishwasher, the lowest position in the kitchen. Then, prep cook. Next, appetizer/salad cook. Spend a year at each of these positions and take notes on what you are seeing in the kitchen. What you like and what you hate. Work your butt off to almost live in the kitchen and make sure your managers know your name for being a hard worker.  2

veggies Get your education. Some think this is what comes first, not in this industry. Walk in to your first day as if you don't have the experience and life will be easier. Study until you are dreaming about Escoffier and McGee. Taste everything, read everything and graduate with a degree. Pay attention in accounting and business classes.  3

chef Get a new job and continue to work on your experience. After a while you will learn that the customer is your new boss, charm him/her with the romance side of the culinary industry. Someday you can get a restaurant of your own or will meet someone that wants you to be the backbone of their restaurant. Then you will use every skill you have learned over decades every day. Experience gives you ability, knowledge helps with choosing the correct tools and ingredients, charm and presentation brings in the customers and business sense makes the restaurant last.

Cooking no doubt is a delicate combination of art and science. A well presented and well arranged food always appeals your eyes, even if it not excellent in taste. Likewise tasty food attracts your taste buds even if it isn’t appealing to eyes. Sometimes we prepare food at home that is not well presented, but very delicious; and vice versa. But a good Chef possesses both the qualities i-e presentation and taste. He at the same time, while preparing extra ordinary luscious dishes, has the art to present it in the best colorful manner which furthermore enhances the beauty of the dish. Cooking is complex matter, its not just chopping and mixing ingredients. It is all about bringing taste and uniqueness in presentation; and a good chef knows how to bring these both. Below are a few tips on how to become a good chef. To learn anything you have to have determination and have put your heart and soul into it. To become a good chef; it requires time and patience. It is not a matter of one or two days, one might take several years to become an expert. Firstly you should try to stay intact with anything that is related to kitchen or food. You may even gain experience by keenly observing your mom preparing meal in the kitchen. Secondly practice is very important factor in developing your cooking skills. The more you experiment and put in practice; the more perfect you will become. The profession of a chef apparently may seem to be very calm, but is a very physical activity in reality. A chef though standing a static place is constantly required to move his hands in kneading, chopping and stirring. A good chef is required to provide his customers a variety of dishes in time, which requires a lot of expertise. So time factor is something which is attached to every good chef, as he has to manage multi-tasks which no doubt requires experience with hands. Apart from this a good chef should have the ability to distinguish between different spices and their combinations. Which spice will go well with which spice? What color will it give to the dish? All such things should be known to the chef. Finally, being a chef is such a profession, in which, you can get on the job training as well. So it is always advisable to move on and attain the lofty stage of a good chef via the tools of practice and experience.

Un bien presentado y bien los alimentos dispuestos siempre apelaciones tus ojos, aunque no excelente sabor. Asimismo deliciosa comida atrae a su paladar, aunque no es atractivo para los ojos. A veces nos preparamos los alimentos en casa que no está bien presentado, pero muy deliciosa, y viceversa. Sin embargo, un buen chef posee tanto en la presentación es decir, cualidades y sabor. Él, al mismo tiempo, mientras se preparan exquisitos platos extra ordinaria, tiene el arte para presentarlo de la mejor manera de colores que, además, realza la belleza del plato. If you setting your sights a little higher, once you have garnered the experience in the culinary industry, you will next look to better positions like: • Head line cook • Executive chef • Kitchen manager • Restaurant manager/owner • Food service supervisor • Caterer • Restaurants • Cruise lines • Resorts or hotels • Private club or spas • Contract food services Truthfully, the possibilities are endless in the culinary field of work. Once you have garnered all of your training, you can pretty much chose any job you’d like to have. This job requires that you work to satisfy the public, but it also guarantees you much freedom.
