Chillicothe VA Wrongful Death Claims

Records obtained by the California-based Center for Investigative Reporting and provided to the Cincinnati Enquirer (a sister publication of the Gazette) show the VA paid out more than $200 million to settle more than 1,000 wrongful death claims nationwide between 2001 and 2012, including two involving the Chillicothe VA. Names and other identifying details have been redacted.
